WoW! So much welcome! Y'all inspired me to take pictures on my new baby this am, so here is a page with the pics: http://ncalrealestateauctions.com/images/hina.html

But about my TT... it's a 25 ft. 2012 Keystone Springdale 257. Front bedroom with a walk around queen, mid kitchen, superslide dinnette, and a rear jack knife sofa. They also had the higher-end, all aluminum Keystone Passports in my price range, but those are rather cave-like inside, and the Springdales have big bright windows, and I just liked this one, the floor plan suits me.

It has light wood cabinets, golden beige walls and carpet, and light golden brown/olive upholstery with a bamboo pattern, faux golden/gray granite vinyl floor and counter tops. Golden brown cloth shades in the living room. I also had them install solar panels, just $400 extra. Nice little kitchen with curve around sink. All the windows can open up for fresh air.

I'm using the slide as a computer workspace, and set up the area for the TV as an office for working online.

I was already living in a small, 300 sq ft in-law, but you would not believe how many trips to the Goodwill I had to make! I guess this is about 200 sq ft. But I have not missed a single thing, got it narrowed down to what I really need.

Love it! And you have it decorated so bright and cheery! Love the underwear/sock storage solution too.

Gorgeous! Love the hanging thingy in the bathroom! Don't know if I have a strut in the wall to hang something like that but just love it!! Good idea for the socks, jammies and underwear, too. I would imagine there might be a few gals on here copying that one.

Great pix of your sweet home! Thanks for the virtual tour!!! Love the pillow idea for undies and pjs. I'm all ready using them for laundry and sleeping bags. Today I'll sew a zipper in one of my smaller pillow covers. Hope we can get together when I come home to Cali in Jan. :)

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm basically the arty type, so "personalizing" is a sort of "genetic imperitive" Can't not do it. Yes, I liked this one, because it was naturally sunny with all the windows, and I just kept it going with color.

Hey Sharon! I don't think you need a strut to hang; on the long one, I used 3 of those removable stick on hooks, with a 1 1/2 lb. capacity. I got those "hangy things" at Pier 1 Imports, my one big splurge, at $30 for both the big and little. They had a lot of different styles.

Can't wait to get out on the road with cute lil' 1 bedroom!

Welcome Jane. Sounds like you made the right nove. I have a small 18ft TT right now, but am considering moving up to a 5er someday, not sure about an MH. The idea of having mobile wheels is appealing, but at the moment I still have my stick and bricks.

Going to enjoy hearing how you are making out with you home on wheels and also hunting for you new truck. Keep us posted and of course as others have said many time, picitures please.

Welcome Jane, I love your home on wheels...you do have a knack for making it 'homey'. When I hear those of you who gave up all the encumbrances and don't miss a thing, it is certainly appealing. I'm 67 and if I were to do this now, no doubt my son and daughter would be very appreciative someday...no estate auctions to worry with :D Enjoy your new lifestyle. Maybe we will meet out there someday. Nancy

The photos are very attractive. I really like the leaf holder for your hairdryer. Very nice.

Been living in the TT for 2 months now, and it's just fine and dandy, such a nice, affordable lil' studio apartment on wheels!

You have the right idea. TTs are well designed with lots of storage. Nice having your own space, but being able to change the location if you want. Living in CA and FL have advantages. An RV can easily be used all year because the weather is so good. We used a small electric heater in ours while camping during cold weather. Our 19 ft. TT was toasty in no time.

Welcome, Jane. I too think it makes total sense to live in an RV. Funny, I always think it's like having a neat little studio apartment too. I am fulltiming in my TT and currently spending the winter in the desert at Quartzsite AZ. I treat everything nice and gentle in the trailer like it is a doll house made of sugar (well, not quite that gentle)...just so things last long, like drawer pulls, shower door clasps, window slides...I just go gentle on them, instead of like a bull in a china shop... Keep us posted on your adventures.
