How very neato to look on here and see Birthday Wishes...Thank you all.
I am in an RV park on Lake Mead Nevada, been kayaking and swimming and toured the dam...Was thinking of taking the sternwheeler cruise for my birthday, but I have already kayaked so much seems a waste of money. Leaving here on Thursday for the last jaunt of the trip to Quartzsite, where I plan to stash my pension in the bank for as long as I can stand it there...I know it isn't paradise but a man has to do what a man has to do. Thanks Again for the Birthday Wishes...still have three years till Social Security kicks in....

Sounds like your bday so far has been great. Hope it's the start of a fantabulous year for you.
Nothing wrong with Q, but just remember, it's only a couple hour drive to stay at many other areas just as inexpensively - lots of blm land in AZ. So, no need to spend all the time in one location. At least that's my phhilosophy. You might love it so much you don't want to check out the other locations. Enjoy. And check in with Sheila as to when she'll get to Q. I don't think for at least another month, but I could be wrong.
