Hi, I'm NeW!

Come on in and say hello.

Hi, I'm NeW!

My name is Jane, I'm new to this forum, plus also new to owning a trailer.... still need a truck though

I recently bought a 2012 25 ft Springdale (I qualified instantly, whereas qualifying for used seems impossible, especially for Class A&C) Been thinking about it for a few years, mostly due to the rent situation in N. California; for the trailer payment and my space rental, I now have my own brand new, cute and efficient studio apartment on wheels, for the price of renting the spare bedroom in someone else's house. :D If the neighbors get weird, I can just hitch up and move!

I do plan on living a more mobile lifestyle, once I get a truck, and my mobile income more secured. I may be here to ask questions, the electrical, plumbing is still new to me, and when I get a truck and have to tow this myself!

Hi and Welcome! We'll be sure to give you answers - just be careful and make sure they are right :) Seriously, good group of people and we do try to help each other. There are quite a few in CA, so you could meet several in the near future, should you want. Hope to see you here often, and to meet you on the road one day.

Welcome from another Californian...altho the Southern type. There are a few gals up in the Northern part, hopefully they will see your post and come on and introduce themselves. Don't know to much about towing a trailer, but we have many on here that do. This is a great place, you'll love it! Chime in anytime and when you get time let us know a little more about you, we're a nosy bunch, ya know! :D

Thanks for your replies! I'm in Santa Rosa, a nice lil' city north of SF. I'm actually living at the RV dealership I bought this from; there are about 5 of us renters, sprinkled around the edges of the new and used. They slapped a "sold" sign on mine, so people wouldn't want to come in and look. :P It's kinda funny, living on used auto row in a parking lot, but actually pretty peaceful.

Adding my welcome! Good to see another west coaster! Gosh, living right at the dealership you don't have to go far to ask questions. :D good luck with finding a truck so you can start traveling.

Welcome Jane! And congratulations on your new TT and welcome to the world of living on wheels. It makes sense economically to do what you are doing, and gives you so much more freedom too. I look forward to reading about your adventures.

Hi Jane! I'm in Cali too. Not too far from you....Tuolumne County. Your TT sounds like a fun and creative solution to housing here. Good luck on search for your truck!
