SUNNYDAY

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SUNNYDAY

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

Gramma here, sitting having coffee and waiting for a call from one of my babies to give me an update on her baby! As of last night, Orion was gaining strength and learning how to suck like a champ! Hopefully they will be able to remove his scalp IV today to allow him more freedom to be passed around-----like to me, for instance! (By the way, Anita, I like your "Gramanita" and am considering "Grammasoo"! It looks rather native American when written out!)

All is well here on the pretty, summery homefront. All dogs have been fed and walked, dishes done, nothing to do now but get ready for another hospital visit. This is fall at its finest. My son in FL says the rain down there has been torrential for two days now, with lots of surface flooding. Luckily their yard is not flooded, but it certainly curtails their weekend plans to get out and play!

I will read the posts and my email, and head out to the porch to bask a little. Coffee is hot, so don't forget to stop by and give us a line or two (or more) from your spot on Earth. I am loving October 2011!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

good morning Soos, and good morning ladies
its definitely fall out in the desert, temps down in the 50's at night and days are comfortable, although its predicted to get back up into the 90's later in the week. Fall break from the school district right now, just one last day to work at the airport (today) and then its 5 full days of vacation. Will do some extra cleaning this week, a little remodeling in my room and perhaps a trip to Lowes to buy my tile for the kitchen in the the rv. I do plan on going out to Apache Junction to visit some friends that just got back last weekend from their almost year long trip. Might be spending some time at the vet Monday to get Gracie checked out. She had a
bit of intestinal issue yesterday and if its not improved today I'll have to seek medical help for her. We have been through this before with her, she has a bit of sensitive tummy to certain things she eats. Seems to happen everytime she eats turkey so guess
she won't be getting any of that. Also need to clean out the little aquarium I bought for a betta, its just 2.5 gals and sits on the
bottom of the tv cart where Gracie watches the fish swim around and provides Pixie with a little night light to help her see at night.
I could watch that little fish swim around for hours myself.
A tune up, well, spark plugs and wires checkup is planned for the car sometime this week and then I'll feel safe taking a little
road trip in the near future. Love my new tires and can certainly feel the difference when I drive it. Honestly, its the first time I ever bought a whole set all at once. Gotta take care of the little car, its almost mine :D and gets great gas mileage as far as running back and forth to work in.
Ok, thats about all the thoughts in my head coming from the desert, enjoy your day and be safe.

Well, it's Sunday here too but it's not Sunny and we're glad about that. It's raining in San Antonio. WooHoo!!!!! :D We are so happy to see it. We had a great thunderstorm this morning before dawn and it's been raining ever since--not hard but steady. I hope it rains all day, we need rain so much here.

Hey Avalen,

Sounds like we're both doing the 'getting ready for a trip' thing.

I like the idea of an aquarium - made me think, maybe a terrarium? Could make one in a gallon pickle jar.

How's it do with the sloshing? Or am I being my normal clueless self, is this in one of those wheel-less RV 'house' thingies?

It's a sunny sunday morning. I drove down to Sunnyvale last night, gonna have some hang out time with Tony later (it's geek love, we're meeting at a Dennys). So this morning I'm in a nearby Starbucks. It's full of S. Asian folks, probably from some event, so there's a fun, festive atmosphere in the air. And, being Sunnyvale, the 'back room' at Starbucks is full of engineers on laptops, so I'm absorbing some of my 'kultcha'.
When I die I'm gonna be cremated. I can't stand the idea of spending eternity in a box with no wheels.

It's sunny here in Utah ... so much so I jumped on my bike with my new bicycling jacket tied onto my pack. Good thing I got the jacket yesterday. I rode Emigration Canyon, and while it was great cool weather for riding UP ... the downhill run back was pretty chilly.

Cooking dinner for my dog (stop laughing, ladies!) and hangin' out.
