SUNNY WEDNESDAY!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SUNNY WEDNESDAY!

Postby Nasoosie » Wed Oct 05, 2011 9:37 am

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Sunny, nearly cloudless sky with cool temps out there this morning---48 degrees. It's wonderful to see the sunshine after many days of cold, grey rain.

No reports from the house yet today. The doc said yesterday that the kid is getting very big, is very active, is still able to move and kick and has no stress, and is right down into the entrance to the birth canal. Sooo...we on the outside just have to relax and be mre patient! Mandy has another doc appointment tomorrow, and we will see what he thinks about inducing contractions, or if he, too, will continue the waiting game. I never had labor inducement, so have no idea what that's like. Although the waiting is no fun, I somehow think things will get under way when they are meant to. I am just so thankful for being able to share this waiting time with my daughter----it has been a trip!

I guess Molly and I will drive back to the river walk trail today and get some miles in while we wait! If it warms up enough, I may wash this trailer and roof, too, as the kids have a hose that will reach down here to the driveway. Their well has plenty of water.

Here's hoping all is well with the rest of you, and that you are having a wonderful time somewhere!

If you are planning on the FL GTG in January, be sure to visit my post in the GTG room and sign up fo a site in the loop that 5 of us are already in. I think we should have a super time down there! Now that I have spent the money for my site, I have more incentive to leave my new grandosn after his birth!

Wet and rainy here in the PNW... but hopefully some breaks this afternoon... I am going to try to get to the beach before I have to winterize the trailer... I will see how it goes.. just cant give up that little bit of summer or fall camping.... :)

How many of you have covers for your trailer for the winter months? I am thinking about getting one, but beings it so big i would have to have help putting it over the trailer... Is it worth the price? Do they keep the dampness and mildew out ?

Christine, some have said they add to dampness and mildew. So make sure you get one that breathes if you do so. I'm guessing there are lots of variables with those covers. I think Lenora spoke of having one once? Lenora, correct me if I'm wrong here!

Sunshine here today, also. YAY. Should have sun for several days now. So very welcome.

I slept like a log last night for the first time in a very long time. Now to energize myself to get a bunch of work done. I have cleaned out my overbed storage area (clothes) and have a few items (way less than I should have) to take to Goodwill. But, every little bit helps. If the rain really holds, want to get to the main area of the overcab and put away my outside table and chairs. That area has been a disaster almost since stopping for the summer! Just set everything up there. Luckily it's mainly easy to put everything back away. Also need a store run (for hearing aid batteries - was hoping to wait till I get to Amazon to order them with a discount) but am down to my last couple. Out for dinner tonight with many of the workampers still here. Another couple pulls out on Thursday. Envy is not a good emotion, but I have it for them.

Have a great day all and enjoy it where ever you are!

RAINY WEDNESDAY!

Postby Anniepoo » Wed Oct 05, 2011 12:34 pm

And I haven't gotten the darned vent repaired.
So using the potty's a wet experience!

It's wet, wet wet!

We have a big storm coming through. It's alternating between sunny and rain squalls.

good morning and its actually almost noon but what the hey. I'm sitting at the tire store waiting for my car to get a new set of shoes, $400 later but its gotta be done and I need to do it while I have the money cause there are many other things I want before I set my rv back up. Have the tile picked out for the kitchen, (Lowes) and the flooring picked out (Home Depot) as well. Looking forward to getting that done. Next thing to shop for is new tv for the bedroom and also one for the livingroom. Both will be flat screen, then when I have all my little ducks in a row I'll get it set back up, looking at sometime after Christmas. Off to check on posts and read up a little. Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

It is a wet, cool afternoon here in SoCal. We have had driving drizzle all day. Doesn't amount to much but makes being outside miserable.

Stopped after work to get a flu shot, so that is done for the season. Just gonna hunker down here under a blanket with my kitty and read a little. Maybe I will make some French Vanilla Capuccino with caramel Baileys...hmmmm...yeah, that sounds good!

Ava, good to hear from you. Haven't seen you on here for awhile. Glad you are gonna get the rig all fixed up and get moved back in before spring! Something good to look forward to!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
