There ya go, Wendy, Karen's an excellent backer upper....she used to drive a school bus. She's a sweetheart and would be more than happy to help you. Notice I said HELP, not do it! Problem solved.

Now to get the Alice problem solved!

And don't rid the place of bleacher seating to watch me back in.. I'm not out of the game yet. If my meds are overnighted Monday morning, i can still get on the road by Tuesday afternoon.

Wouldn't think of it Alice! We'll still expect you on Wed for the show. I'm going to PM you my phone number. Do me a favor and call if you're not going to make it. With your rv track record I'd like to know if your meds didn't make it or your money pit didn't or do we need to come rescue you. Basically just don't want to worry about you.

I've had time to calm down since this morning's conversation with the pharmacy rep and come to terms that its not hopeless. Matter of fact.. no real reason to hit the panic button yet.

In my mind's eye, I can see the smiles of numerous mobile rv mechanics once word gets out I'm rolling.

   My rv guy is going to be soooo happy to see me when I get back! Poor Hope has made up for several years of worry free traveling in one trip. Kind of wish she had spread it out over several years, tho.

I believe in karma.

Yesterday, I bought a homeless guy new bicycle inner tubes and other things his bike needed for repairs. When I got home, the infusion center called me and told me they had been in contact with my pharmacy. My drugs are shipped under refrigeration, special handling, so on and so on. They most likely will not be at the center in time for my infusion.

BUT.. and here is where the good karma kicks in...

The infusion center has agreed to front me the drug while waiting for my shipment to arrive so I can get on the road in the rv.. that will be taking up about ten spaces in their parking lot. :) This is not normal procedure and I am real grateful for them doing it.

See everyone soon!

Alice--that is absolutely great news for you.

Hey guys--you are going to scare all the newbies off with the talk of watching and laughing at people backing in. We all know you would all help but they don't know that. Hate to scare anyone off.

Karma has a wicked sense of humor. :)

I help someone with a bicycle flat.. and lo and behold, I get a flat today. To the bicycle shop it goes tomorrow.

The rv wasn't ready today (another little chuckle from karma) but will be tomorrow.

All these bumps just make the journey more interesting.

I take it you're not gonna be there? Sure was hoping that you could scrounge up a few gas bucks to be there. Knew I should have kept you out of the casino!!

And as for laughing at the newbies....neither Alice nor myself is a newbie, but we still manage to provide entertainment! :D Hopefully they realize we're laughing with them, not at them. We only laugh at people who can pronounce the word inebriated while being extremely inebriated. There's only one person I know that can do that, who shall remain nameless at this point.

I got to drive my rv yesterday. Its been too long. Tomorrow, the rv shop is coming out to my house to look at some last minute wiring issues. Minor stuff, so I have been told.

It felt so good to be behind the wheel again. I was concerned that I had lost my love for that rv... but I'm starting to feel all tingling all over again. Hmmm.. might want to check for bed bugs.

Tons of things to do today and tomorrow. I am so looking forward to hitting the road on Tuesday.

See everyone soon!
