Thanks Tina for taking so much of your time uploading photos and telling the story - great job. Looks like everyone was having a good time. I can hardly wait to hear "all" the details from Carolyn next month. Hey, Becky, it was nice to "see" you! Bet you had your share (and more) of margaritas! So glad you were able to make it to the cruise Sharon - looks like you were feeling better by the time you got on board. Congrats to you Tina for becoming a scuba diver ! That's pretty cool!

I'm thinking of going again too maybe this winter. Found a ship called the Epic (Norwegien) that looks interesting because they have studio cabins for one person, only cruise ship that does. They also have a private area where only the people in the studio cabins can get into, so you can meet the other solo travelers. I looked on cruise critic, they are people of all ages that just happen to be traveling solo. Thinking it over

Thanks so much for taking the time to post pics & narrative...Took a cruise (my first) years ago through Royal Carribean cruise lines in that area. Loved St. Thomas...wanted to move there...loved the sing song way the natives speak...it was a wonderful time & so glad I got to do it. Your post sure brought back a lot of memories...thanks so much....and of course, anyone can see that a great time was had by all.... :D

Finally got chance to look thru all the great photos. Looks like such a wonderful time.
Carolyn gave me my casino intro, I too thought you had to feed those slots with $20.00 bills.

Well credit goes to my cruise mentor. And it isn't that I didn't blow $20 bills in the casino....but Sharon suggested getting change and only feeding $5 in at a time. It does sort of make you think more about which way things are going..... and you have to stop and make additional decisions before you just "let it all ride...out to the end"  Some bills provided longer bursts of entertainment than others. :? :) For sure.

It is always my challenge to see how long I can keep $1.00 going in the penny slots.

My ex was a very good craps player so naturally I thought I should be too. One time at AC I decided to switch from Blackjack to Craps. There wasn't a table in the place under $10 so I plunked my money down and quickly lost about $400. Took my breath away. Went back to our room to consider what had happened (this was so "not Joan" behavior). Read a pamphlet about gambling (should have read the one saying Don't Do It) and armed with new info returned to the casino to lose about $400 more. That stopped me for good. My husband didn't know what had taken possession of me since it was so uncharacteristic of me to gamble that kind of money. Luckily he won it all back and more. :D

One of our sisters did extemely well on craps! I stay away from what I don't understand.

I am with Liz on the penny slots - except I only use 25 pennys. (I did a nickel slot once) When I double my money I put that in my pocket and start over. When I am ready to quit I play to the highest number, lose once then quit. That can be fun - won $7.58 one time on a penny. Now if my stocks and bonds did that I'd be sittin pretty.

So glad you ladies had a grand time. I think I some more cruises coming along. By the way the Escapees have a couple of cruises coming up. One is a Hop thru the Panama canal the early part of the year. The other I just briefly saw was April to May but I don't remember where to. If you aren't members and are interested in knowing more PM me and I'll go look it up for you.

Still waitin for some more "unpublished facts" to come forward. That was entirely too calm for that bunch!
