AUTUMNAL EQUINOX FRIDAY

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

AUTUMNAL EQUINOX FRIDAY

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

I am on, didn't have to log on again, and, with any luck whatsoever, I may be able to post this message without getting asked to log on! I suspect my problems have been some updated crap about not allowing cookies from third parties, or some such baloney----I changed to always allow cookies from something, and we shall see if it works over on the Women's Forum, too.

After my beer and ice cream supper last night, Molly and I went for a walk around the ponds and then we hit the bed, I to work on some crossword puzzles until my favorite two funny-man reporters' show came on the comedy channel at 11:00. I never made it to the show! I guess 3 Natural Light beers put me into Lalaland earlier than I had anticipated!

Scary and anxious news from the bear center about the bear named Hope, born two years ago and whose mother, Lily's, den was watched all winter by bear fans like me. Hope has been missing from her mother Lily and her sibling, Faith, for two days now. The bear hunting season in the Ely area is well underway, and Hope has adamantly refused to wear a colorfully ribboned tracking GPS collar, so the researchers have no way to know where she is or if she has been shot. Hunters in the area have agreed to not shoot bears wearing the collars, but poor Hope didn't have one. Lily and Faith were together last night and both were safe thus far. I would so hate to have Hope's life cut short by a bullet.

It's a beautiful sunny day here, and already 59 degrees outside. Joe will come after work for the weekend, and I may head home for a couple of days to drop off stuff and pick up the rest of what I have packed to take to FL with me----or I may not. I have a feeling the birth is not far away now.

(p.s. I did have to log onto this Women RV group, and now let's see if I can post this message.)

Happy first day of fall to all!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good morning Soos and everyone!

Soos, I'm glad you were able to post here this morning. Hopefully your computer problems will just go away.

It's raining on the eastern shore of MD and it's supposed to rain straight through tomorrow and we have a chance of showers on Sunday as well. Some areas of the state can expect 2 - 4 inches of rain this weekend.

Another couple and Steve & I are planning on camping at a campground this weekend to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the campground. The other couple has a pop-up, so I hope the rain lets up long enough for them to set up. I haven't heard from them, so I hope they still plan on meeting us there.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning. It's rainy here in TN, as a cold front is moving through. I'm perched in a perfect spot at lakeside to launch my kayak, but don't think it'll happen today. I plan to stay here a few days, so perhaps tomorrow will be a better day for kayaking. I'll take today to catch up my blog....getting behind again.

I know the sun is shining somewhere, so those of you who have it, enjoy! Have those who are sick, in need, or hurting emotionally in my heart and mind today.

Good Morning Ladies. We'll be heading to our local campground today also, should be there till about Wednesday, so I'll be out of touch except for my iPhone and I'm not real sure how fast or slow that will be. Have a nice weekend and we'll check in when we get back!

Good Morning everyone. I will probably head on home tomorrow. After visiting with my grandson and new great grandson I came to my favorite park in the Panhandle. But the mosquitos here have been pretty bad. Yesterday it rained all day, so this morning the little buggers are really out.

Plan on riding my bike down to the beach in a bit and enjoy the water some.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ladies! Made it to Fayetteville yesterday afternoon...only 90 miles from son's house and good roads. Had rain off and on but the sun is shining today. Doubt if it's gonna be real warm today, tho. Last year when I was here had really good wifi, but can't get the 'pooter to get it today, so I'm using the smart phone with that pdanet program that Pete from ORS told me about. I can't tell you how many times I've mentally thanked him for sharing that info. Had dinner with my cousin last nite. She got some bad news just before we met...guess medicare is cutting programs and she lost her job. She was really upset. She had only been there since May, but she loved it. Sure hope she can find another job soon. I'll be seeing the grands tonite and will probably take them out tomorrow. Next week I want to drive the Boston Scenic Loop drive down 71. Been saying for a couple of years I was going to do it, and this is the year. Plus I want to check out Lake Ft. Smith for camping. I checked out 4 COE and state CG's a couple of days ago and only one met all of out criteria. Piney Bay COE. All back in's, but they looked pretty easy, especially the one's in B section. Right on the water for our kayaker's and a couple of spots that would work for Vickie and Ron. A few that would work for us "portly" gals. Looked like some good hiking trails. Easy to get to, not full HU's, but a dump station, 30A and water. I'm still looking. I do so love sewer and pull-thru! :D Hard to find in a state or COE. My favorite is still Petit Jean. Something for all of us.

Not moving very fast this AM, just can't seem to get my "get up n go" back. Hope everyone has a great day. Sarah's sister and Beth's friend Ann still in my prayers as is anyone else with troubles or pain.

Woke up earlier to rain, but now the sun is out. Supposed to be thunderstorms later on today and tonight tho.

Finally got paid today! Have been SO broke lately. Business has been slow so very little tips. My old shop finally got around to mailing my paycheck a few days ago (payday was LAST Friday!) so hoping I get that today too. Waiting on refunds from the gas company and the cable company as well...
Hoping business picks up too. I work all weekend so maybe I will get some good tips.

I also read about Hope gone missing. Maybe she just left to go find a den of her own for the winter. Too bad she wouldn't let anyone put a collar on her. She is still fairly small, so can't imagine why a hunter would shoot her, but then again, I don't know why hunters do what they do anyways

Not very motivated lately. Money issues always depress me. :( Hopefully, I can finally get caught up in the next month or so. Moving is always expensive.

Have a good day!

The sun is shining here and it 95 still. I thought we were suppose to get some rain but don't see any.

I just got back from town again. Wednesday I got my motorhome serviced, ran errands and got a new radio. Thursday I got my van serviced and mowed the grass at the trailer. Today I picked up my tax papers, got my flu shot and went to Walmart. I have been trying to track down a place I can get another remote door lock thing for my motorhome. I only got one when I bought it and the case is cracking. I have to have it to turn off the alarm. It's a lot of work getting ready for a trip.

late again checking in.

Tom was just here, he put me off wednesday and thursday, and today he could only give me a little time, but he adjusted the idle.

Getting closer.

It's been blazing hot. I've been pretty much flaking myself all day, being busy in the evenings.
And yup, it's worth it!
