Also, some of the gals don't know that if you click on that little orange page icon next to the topic, it will take you to the posts in that thread you haven't read yet.

Thanks----I didn't know that. I'm on another cup of coffee then I'm gonna grab one off the wall and sneak it in to the Joint Class Bash and I have to go to today. I hear it is usually about a 3 hour class so I'll need it!!! LOL Taking one for Bash too so that leaves 44 bottles of beer on the wall!!!

I am chilled to the bone. This fire feels so good. I have been raking leaves, chopping leaves, moving leaves, hauling leaves. lol I am thawing chili for dinner and I think it is 5:00 somewhere. I know there is wine here somewhere and will search until I find it.

Thanks all, who taught me how to use the little yellow square thingy next to the messages! That works great!

Sure do need a campfire tonight.....very cold and damp out there. Molly and I went for a walk when I got home, and I got chilled to the bone! Gonna get me some decafe and spike it with a shot of something good, get into super-heavy warm fleecey jammies, and get under my sleeping bag early tonight!

It's nice you found the short-cut to recent postings, Soos. It can be a bit overwhelming reading through them all again! Sorry it is so cold there...we just were finally able to turn off the AC and open our windows here in Brownsville. It sounds as if you have the perfect remedy though.

Shirlv is in a bad place right now. I bet she doesn't want to ever see another leaf. :D Somebody make a Walmart run and get that gal a bottle of wine!

So chilly here even the cat won't stay out! So I'll pass by that box of wine, (which is now out from behind the bushes and on picnic table) and have a cup of nice, hot ... HOT cocoa! Fire looks great tonight and the smoke is going straight up,.... doesn't get any better!

I need some good warm time around the campfire tonight. Good thing it is virtual cause it has been misting all day long----just a damp, gloomy day. I know, it isn't all that cold but it is the kind of chill that goes right through you. I brought in another load of logs and threw some on. Gonna grab one off the wall for antifreeze---lol!!! Let's see----what does that leaves 42 I think.

I've been moving stuff around getting ready for Bash's knee surgery Monday. We had to swap where our recliners were so we can put her in an X-pen in the corner after surgery to protect her from Tobey. We have also been moving some stuff out of one bathroom so she will be able to get around with her walker in there. The other bathroom is big enough she is ok in it. She will have her choice. We found a really neat Pet Resort in Murfreesboro and we will take him there Monday and he will stay all night and I will pick him up Tues. evening. It was fairly reasonable. They have two outdoor play yards and one room inside. It is really neat. His kennel is fairly big at night. He will love playing with the other dogs. Wed. we may take him back to daycare---depends on when Bash gets to come home. I think I better grab another one----41
I think!! :?

Ah lovely campfire, lovely music. So nice as it's rainy/drizzly today (been calling for it as Lori keeps telling you all week, finally the weatherman is right). It's also my Friday, worked today to cover for someone else taking off.

Soos, when you are in a long thread - or any thread for that matter - if you're signed in - when you open the thread, you have an option on the top right to go to the "first unread post" - great tool here on the forum :)

Hey Lori--You forgot the two I took after you were here the last time You left 43----I took two so that left 41 and you took another one so that leaves 40. Since I live here in Tn., I had to get both hands and feet going a couple times but I'm sure that is right according to my hillbilly counter!! LOL I'm having hot chocolate this morning and some french toast with real maple syrup on it and lots of hot butter!!!!

Raisin bran cereal without milk for my breakfast. Was intending to make hot chocolate, but slept in late enough that it was warmer than when I've been getting up for work and I'd love the hot chocolate.

Joined a few others here to play one of my favorite games last night. Meant to buy it for the gtg, might have to do it for whenever the next one I attend - would be a blast around a campfire. And you should all be grateful that came to the TX gtg that I didn't bring a couple plungers. I still think that game would be a blast :)

Not sure if I'm just going to chill tonight - if so, you'll find me here to grab one of those dwindling beers from the wall.
