Okay, this may become an ongoing saga, but just have to share the last day or so....we just love this place!!! :D

The winds have been really rough, but we've had sun and warm temps...

love the pictures, looks like a great place to visit. Would love to do some fishing myself, thats always relaxing in my mind. BTW, did ya catch anything?

Nope, having caught a single fish yet..... :lol: But that's okay....we just enjoy the relaxing.....also it maybe we are picking the wrong time of day....seems folks are catching them way early in the morning or in the evening after dark.....But we're not going to give up and will post "fish pictures" when we do catch some fish.... :)

Love the pictures, Lori, and I know from my travels that I see the most and get the prettiest pictures when I get up before the crack of dawn. Keep posting your adventures.

You haven't even been here a week yet and you're already understanding the charms of the area :)

Great pics - I love the birds of the area - the pelicans, and herons and right not we have coots here that are fun - one is following the example of our Donald Duck and ate out of my hand yesterday. I don't know if the roseate spoonbills will be in your area like we get them here - hopefully they will - they are soooooooooo pretty - you'll think you're seeing a flamingo at first.
