A "Fun" day on the road to Elkhart

Just a quick note - I updated the blog about our lovely day on the way to Elkhart - now I'm going to have a glass of wine and forget all about it.
Guess tomorrow we'll laugh about it all. Alls well that ends well. There is a nice breeze, our tummies are full and the crickets are cricketing.

Ouch. But I'm glad you got there and are settled in with full bellies.

Oh, I hate when my GPS does things like that, and I don't even have to unhook to turn around. Sorry about all the troubles, but glad you are safely settled and can enjoy your time there.

Quite a trip to the campground. Hope you get some Chill time in. I think TNT airs The Closer a few time during the week, so should be no problem finding the episode. They also said there would be new episodes during November as well. Linda

Well things are progressing. The Internet and Direct Tv are now working fine - even in the pouring rain! We have an appointment with a repair service on Friday to fix the hot water heater. And the guy who is going to wash and wax this thing was supposed to be here today - but didn't show up this a.m. (Hum he got paid for another coach he finished yesterday......) and then it started raining this afternoon.
I forgotto bring paper plates (so we can't eat here - can't cook either as there is no hot water to wash dishes [tongue in cheek] and chips - how could I forget them.
Had to dig way back into my brain to remember the password for this Internet system. Took a while but I got it. So then I could download a couple of books onto my Nook.
So I'm set for tonight - The Driver is watching soccer then we'll go out to eat then back and turn on the fireplace and enjoy the sound of rain on the roof.
Did a couple of updates on blog too.

FYI
There are a number of other bloggers at Elkhart Campground right now. Nick and Terry from Gypsy Journal come to mind first.

I love the Elkart area. Found some outlets that carry new parts for RV's, bought a bunch of little things, you know just in case.

Have you visited the RV Museum? They don't seem to have a lot of the old units they had in the old one, but they do have a lot to see.

Enjoy your time there.
