Whether you actually served our country... or waited for a loved-one to return home (for that was suffering too)...I salute you today. I will never take my freedom for granted!
Happy Veteran's day!
Sunseeker Jill also Tommy and furkids Sami and Molly ,
I'm honoring our vets today by watching the parade, and yesterday I spent a few moments personally thanking and chatting with the many vets we have at work. And if any of you ladies are retired military I would like to thank you too for serving our country.
Thank you all for honoring us that have served and those who are serving our country....It means alot to us all.....Our brothers and sisters who gave that "last full measure" for your Freedoms and Liberties will never be forgotten nor was their sacrifice in vain......Please continue your support for those who come home wounded and those who have no physical wounds....Remember we are your Brothers, Sisters, Moms, Dads, and your Kids......We do this for you.
Thanks to all the men and woman who served and are serving our country. We are so dang lucky to live in the USA and I know it's because of the sacrifice the veterans made for us.
My first husband served in Vietnam and when they returned some were treated like criminals. I am so glad our country has progressed past that. These men and women don't always get to choose where they will serve. The politicians that send them to war like to forget them when they come home wounded.
A salute to all you veterans out there. We appreciate your service and the sacrifice of your families. This flag is flying at the LBJ White House where Liz took me to visit after leaving the gtg.
Happy travels to all, Belle, the womenrv.com mascot
And a big thank you to all the Veterans and the current member of our service. Like others have said, I don't take my freedoms for granted - and it's because of all of you that I continue to enjoy them. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!
