Really glad to read that it appears nothing serious is going on and that you will be able to go on the cruise. Carolyn will keep you so busy and laughing that you will automatically feel better. Have a great trip!

Still real tired and stomach is still sore, but I'm eating. Being very kind to my tummy at the moment, lots of yogurt and bland stuff and still munching on beets and cottage cheese. I may never eat beets again but they seem to do well on the tummy. Don't know how much partying I'll be up for, this may be the quietest cruise I've ever taken.... Tina may have to find her own trouble this trip! I'm sure she'll manage just fine with Carolyn to lead her on!

Sharon - So glad you got a good report from the Dr. Have a great and enjoyable time on the cruise. Oh, have you tried oatmeal baths for Chewy for those allergies? It may help??

Yea! Sharon is feeling better. Some here may have lengthy discussions on whether she is back to "normal" since we have always considered her rather exceptional  :D ...and well normal is well so normal! Hope Chewy's itches quiet down so that you don't have to worry about him while away...... and have fun packing that suitcase. It reminded me how much I like traveling in a MH and not having to pack suitcases..... :D ...and if you are moving slower I might actually be able to keep up with you part of the time! See you soon. If our flights are on time we may end up on the same ground transport. :)

Normal is relative....some people think that what we do isn't normal...packing the suitcase...I realize that Carolyn and Becky have it down to a science, but I confess to being a bit of a clothes horse and a good part of the fun (to me) is getting to dress up every nite, since I spend the rest of my "normal" life in jeans and shorts. It really irks the heck out of me that I'm limited to 1 suitcase since I'm to cheap to pay the 70 bucks round trip to bring a 2nd one. Sigh. As far as keeping up with me..a snail could keep up with me at this point. Glad we don't have anything planned that's going to be real strenuous. I think I can manage riding in a bus and floating in the water. Hopefully we will be on the same ground transport, if not I'm sure we'll find each other. Call me or I'll call you when we land. Did you print out the tags to go on your suitcase from the boat site? I'm bringing tape to tape it on at the airport when I land.

Chewy is her usual itchy self but at least the constant scratching has stopped and we both slept pretty good last nite. Kids have carte blanche at the vets if needed. @Linda...she has special soap that I use weekly...soap up, leave on for 20 minutes, rinse. She hates it. Runs and hides if I do dishes and clean out the sink. She knows what's coming. She's getting a bath today.

Always good to get a clean bill of health...if a cruise is ever deserved you do deserve this one...I am writing and thinking of how great the food is and how hard it would be for me to tread lightly.
My only suggestion is 'KEEP ALL MEDS ON YOUR PERSON' until you get to your room then lock in the room safe. I always have one pair of panties and my toothbrush with me just in case the luggage is slow in arriving.
To all who are doing the cruise have a great time and I'm wishing I was there. On my first cruise (with my hubby) I watched some 'red hat ladies' having the best time..they were everywhere, didn't miss anything, and always laughing. I wished I was with them ;) :o

I'm fully prepared with my carry-on....bathing suit, cover up, meds, personal stuff, book, pj's, clean undies and paperwork. They can deliver the next day and I'll be good to go. I'm afraid my other favorite thing, eating, may be a little curtailed this trip.

Don't worry ladies, Sharon is gonna be in good hands. We will take care of her. Just hope Maria doesn't rear her ugly head too much to pitch and roll the ship. Glad the blood work came back looking good. They do make a blan diet so if we need to the first night we can talk to our waiter and he/she can take care of it. Get your disco shoes packed and a dancin' we will go.

Really happy to read that doctor didn't find anything serious (but don't give up on the beets just yet).
Now just try to relax and enjoy the cruise.

So good to hear you got a clean bill of health, Sharon, but, when you return, I think a scan of some sorts is in order, even if you have to feign an emergency and go to the ER to get it covered. Damn health insurance companies haven't realized yet what a bit of prevention can save in money (not to mention lives) down the line.

In the meantime, bring some beets with you for beet juice cocktails, beet entres, and beet desserts! Have a wonderful, if calmer-than-usual time on your cruise----happy sailing to all of you!

Sharon, you answered the question I did not ask. I printed the "cruise" suitcase ticket but didn't know if I needed to wait until arriving in FL airport to attach it. :? I will bring my packing tape to Miami to attach it with now!

CHecked in on line for my flight early tomorrow. Paid my suitcase charges. Have a long term parking reservation for my car near the airport. One more med to pick up today at Walmart. Charge up my Kindle.....I am ready, ready..... :)

Tina thinks she'll have time to read????

Sharon, so glad the dr didn't find anything, but what a mystery.

Everyone on the cruise, have a great time and remember, whether you tell us or not, we KNOW you'll be getting in trouble.

Sweetie, you've been over the top ready for 6 months!!! Bathed Chewy yesterday, just finished vacuuming dog hair and cat litter...need to go shower and start moving out. I want to get to Little Rock before 3 to meet the guy at the front desk at the motel I'm staying in. I've had quite a few discussions with him and he's sooo funny! I called to ask if they had a guest computer and printer to get my boarding pass and pay for my suitcase and he said " Honey, we will print all of that out for you, we will wake you in the morning, feed you breakfast, take you to the airport, babysit your car and pick you up when you get back." All of this said in a sweet southern drawl. We also got into a discussion about shoes, (came up when I was whining about not being able to take the shoes I wanted to and he said as long as he had his stilletos he was good!), dog allergies (he rescues), what to start taking so I don't get sick on the plane and french manicure versus color. I have GOT to meet Skip! OK, back to work....just hoping I haven't forgotten anything. Guess as long as I have my tickets, passport, drivers license, lipstick and credit card everything else is minor.

I always have time to read! By the pool, on the balcony....and what happens on the big boat stays on the big boat!!!

Yeah, Beth, I'd sure like to know what it is, too. I know I'm sick and tired to death of feeling like this. Those of you who know me know I'm pretty active and usually feel really good.

soos...no beets going on cruise...had to give up the can for a pair of shoes!! A girl has her priorities ya know!
