Carolyn, hope you are back to yourself in no time.

Sharon, some things are just not meant to be shared, no matter how willing the sharer. :D Glad you are better also.

Carolyn....so glad you went to the doc! All those nasties need help with meds and rest. I wonder if Sharon is a Typhoid Mary descendant? :) Poor Sharon....so sick she was, and perhaps still is, so I am now waiting to hear how her doc appointment goes on Tuesday. BoyChick had better put on sterile clothing and gloves and wear a mask!

I hope you all get well sooner rather than later, as our hurricane weather is upon us, and you will need to be up and alert.

Hugs to you all.....from a loooooong distance!

Working around my yard.

I am feeling better today. No cramping, but a low grade fever and slight headache. I am drinking plenty of water (i may float away) and cranberry juice, too!

Keep us posted on how you're doing....wish I was there to help you like you helped me....on second thought, maybe it's better if I stay away! :D Be sure and let us know how you're doing with the storm. Looks like I got out just in time, but DIL said there's one headed here from the north. At least I'm parked and with family.

Feeling like my old self today! In fact, I was laboring (cleaning house) on Labor Day . I did get out later to make a visit to Walmart. :D

No wind or water damage at home. I was not concern about the water, only the wind and tornado warnings. I did get approx. 5-6 inches of rain since Friday afternoon. By late morning today, the sun was shining and had cool breeze. That cool air felt great!!! It won't last long, but to enjoy it while it is here.

I'm a bit late to the party here, but so glad to hear you're back to normal, Carolyn! Now you can mix that leftover cranberry juice with a shot of vodka and some lime juice!!! That way you'll get better and FEEL better too! ;) ;) Seriously, tho, so good that you're back on track!

OK, let me be the wet blanket here. When I saw those plates of food that ya'll were eating, I thought no way can they eat all of that! If you did, then you needed lots of fluids to push it all through your system. No wonder you were impacted!! So the next time you all put on your eatin' shirts, put the drink lots of fluid shirt on over it. :D
Glad you are feeling better, Carolyn and Sharon.

In everyone's defense, there were a lot of doggie bags taken. Most restaurants here and all over serve too much food.

I had a doggie bag from everywhere we ate. Plus it was so hot there, we were all drinking huge glasses of water. And I never got impacted.....everything was right on schedule every morning. In fact by the time I threw up the first time in the wee hours of the morning, nothing there but clear liquid, everything was already on it's way out the other way.
