We lucked out on the SW corner of the state. We are getting rain this morning, but it's only supposed to be 4-6 inches, as opposed to the possible 20in. further east. Wind isn't bad here either, only about 25-30mph. I got everything ready yesterday, just in case it came in further west, better to be prepared. I run the geny every month, but last time it would only run about 5-10 minutes and shut down, so I drained all the fuel out of the tank and put 10gal. of fresh fuel and Sta-bil in there, started it up, it shut down, started it again and ran it for 30 minutes, put the ac on and ran it for another hour, thank you Jesus, it ran fine! We didn't need another expense, just had to replace the two batteries in the pick-em-up truck.

THinking about all of you there, and hope Lee makes a quick exit. 4-6 in. or rain and 30 mph winds may be better, but it's nothing to pooh-pooh either.

We have only received about 2 1/2 inches of rain so far. Lee is stalled just South of us. It's windy but not the 60 mph that is suppose to be the top speed. It's clear here right now, the rain is wrapping around us. We are under a tornado watch until 10 PM. There have been about 6 to 8 of the barn cats on the back porch since early this morning. They seem to be upset about something. I hope they don't know something we don't. I have never seen the Humming birds so active. I have a feeder by the house and one on the old carport and they just go from one to the other chasing each other. I went and filled up the motorhome with gas yesterday in case we would loose power but so far so good.

I'm glad we don't have to pay for the Weather Channel by the hour. We have had 2 tv's on the weather channel for at least 24 hours.

It has been raining off and on since last night . Got about 2 inches or so (rain gauge is cracked) so far as of 2:30 pm. The wind comes and goes, too. Weird weather.

Just be safe! Hope this one just blows itself out before it causes to much trouble.
