So glad you snuck Abby in to see George - best medicine ever. I KNOW the best medicine for me would be my Sophie cuddling up to me.

Good morning Mitch. I too think it was a wonderful thing to take Abby to see George. Tina could tell you all about the healing power of dogs or any animals.
Stay well and strong thank you for keeping us posted. I know many prayers are going out for you and George.

Best therapy around! Sending best wishes for both of you. Make sure you take care of yourself, too, hear?

I just talked to Mitch! They moved George to a rehab/nursing home on Saturday. It is near their home, so she's back home, but having problems with her internet, she's trying to get on the wifi at the nursing home. George is doing good, he'll have 10 days of IV antibiotics then hopefully be home. Abby gets to visit her Daddy everyday!

Thanks for the update Vickie I'm sure having him closer to home will be much easier than Mitch having to stay in Paducah. Plus Abby can visit too!!!

So glad George got moved closer to home. Now Mitch you get some good rest at night -- you need to take care of yourself. And Abbey is a cutie pie!!!!

Mitch, thanks for the update and great photo of George and Abby. Hope you are getting some rest now.
Thanks to you too Vicky for the follow-up update.
I had to stay in an assisted living facility for therapy following hip replacements. They allowed pet visits and it sure helped cheer me to see my fur baby so know first hand how much Abby's visits mean to George.
Am continuing to send positive thoughts your way.

Abby makes a great "therapet"! I used to bring Moxy (ferret) to the nursing home for my mom. She loved the visits and so did the other residents (and Moxy loved it too and was always very well-behaved!)

Hope George recovers quickly and can be back home soon!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Thanks for the update Vicki! Glad to hear that everyone is doing well; hopefully, the IV meds along with daily Abby visits (oh, and visits from Mitch too! LOL) will help him get better soon and to be able to get home. ((((MITCH, GEORGE, and ABBY)))) :D

So very very glad to hear this ! And glad that it's close to home. Makes it so much easier on Mitchiepoo. Tell her we love her when you talk to her and she has lots and lots of hugs coming her way!
