So glad you're feeling somewhat better. And kudos to the sistahs who checked on you and came by to help. Can't say enough good about this group of caring friends.

As for you....and the reason you didn't take the dr.'s advice and go get checked at the ER is???? It could have been something really serious; you were probably dehydrated from all the vomiting, etc. I certainly hope if the symptoms return you will not try to medicate yourself and get those tests done.

Hope there are no more dramas before the cruise....that will be drama enough!

Made it to boy chicks house, all set up, satelite came right in and the program on my android phone is working great for me to get on-line. Need to have son set me up with something to mount the antenna for the signal booster that Birdie told me about. It's working ok, but would work better outdoors. Feel like I'm in hog heaven here, the last 5 years I've had no satelite (trees, trees and more trees!) and no phone service. I'm really uptown now!!

Dr's appt on Tues at 2, so we'll see what they say. Feeling better, but still just so tired.

So glad you are getting those tests. You know you don't want to be out of the country and have problems again. Even though we are going to mostly US territories, it's no good being in a strange country. I will have to say that if that happens, I'll be glad to stay over in St Thomas or San Juan if necessary. Yes, yes, girls, I kept my appt...nothing to report yet, doc took blood and "other body fluids" and I have to go back on Thurs afternoon for the results. He wouldn't even take a guess w/o tests, but I could tell he was thinking long and hard and even ordered another test while I was in the chair getting blood drawn. I really liked him...he was an old dude but was very thorough and asked a lot of questions. Said he had to find the problem and get me fixed before I got on the boat, so he at least understood that was a priority. Soooo....stay tuned for the Thurs nite news because obviously you guys haven't forgotten about all of this!
