On Saturday we all left to get out of Hurricane Irene’s path.

The GTG was one of the best I’ve ever attended. Of course, they’re all the best when I’m there! Thanks to Soos for being a wonderful hostess, providing all our needs, and making us all feel welcome and relaxed.

Sounds like a super time, Liz. Great picures, as always. So many GTGs, so little time! How far away from Irene did you manage to go? She's a big'un, but at least downgraded now somewhat. Doesn't stop the rain, tho. Hunker down and stay dry.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks like you had a great time, Liz. Soos, definitely has a beautiful place and a perfect setting for a "ruckus". The pics of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mtn took me back, way back  , when my sister and I spent our summers at camp on Saranac Lake, hiking Mt. Marcy and Whiteface and going for ice cream in Lake Placid. The boys looked like they were really enjoying their "free" time. carold
