Prayers for Dufus & George

You may have noticed my little Dufus friend has been absent from her normal jovial self on here lately. George has been having some problems and she said that I could post to keep y'all updated and request prayers. He went to the Doctor on Tuesday for a cortisone shot in his knee, by Thursday it had become swollen and he was in pain so they went back to the doctor. The doctor wanted to drain it or do some type of surgery (I'm not sure exactly), but G's chest began hurting him. They admitted him to the hospital and had him in Critical Care, his pulse was 182, thinking they would get it straightened out and move him to a room the next day. They ended up keeping him there for two nights and Mitch called me this morning that they were taking him by ambulance up to Paducah, where his heart doctor is. He also has a staph infection. She was headed home to get Abby and The Mobile Marlin and take it up there so she wouldn't have to be making the drive back and forth. So please keep them in your prayers and I will update when I get any info or she will, if she gets the chance.

Thanks so much Vickie....I, too, was wondering since I haven't seen her here in awhile....I know all to well how all this physical illness is affecting George as my Mom seemed to fail more during and after anything major....My thoughts and prayers are with them both....((((HUGS)))) to them.....I'm sure you'll keep us posted.....

Oh My, Vickie----thanks so much for the info. Even though I have been busy here, I have missed Mitch's posts, cartoons, and comments, and was wondering what was up. I am sending strength to both of them, and a conviction that perhaps the Universe is unfolding as it should----not necessarily as happily as we would have it, but, hopefully as it should. Strength to both of them in this latest chapter of their lives. Please keep us posted.
