Has anybody ever heard of the brand of motorhome REXHALL? I found a class A for sale (2002) 27' w/ 11200 miles for $24950. It has never been on a trip by the present owners and the previous owner had only been on one or two,,, anyway... it's in like new shape and is pretty much loaded. Has one slide up front,,, a jackknife sofa (sorta bends around) and leather capt/s chairs up front and one more leather chair behind the passenger seat. etc etc...

Just wanted to read some feedback from yall.....

Lemme hear from ya!

bestest regards to the gang...

I've seen some and was in one at a campground- the people who owned it said it was their 3rd Class A and favorite one. Can't give any personal info. You can always read about them on their website (of course they'll only say good things, lol) but they have a link on their website to owners forums, etc.

www.rexhall.com - link to Rexhall clubs is at the bottom of the home page.

thanks, Beth.. you are so good to help anyone. I have been reading up on them. It seems I've found a good buy,,, at least it seems so far to be the case. I am currently fighting w/ my pc about being able to click on email addresses and write to them. It keeps giving me a msg saying I don't have the default email client set up. SHEESH! I have yahoo mail but it won't let me make it my default. Just gives me the window mail choice only. Irritating as heck!!!

oh well,,, I will press on.

thanks again....J :D

Go into your internet tools and set up your default email to yahoo. I hate when that's the only way to contact someone. If you cursor over the email me part - see if you can see the email address to memorize and type in if you can't figure out how to set your default email.

Maybe this will help:

Go into your control panel and find the "internet Options" if you don't know how to find that from in this window. Then in Internet Options, you'll need to click on the top tab "programs". At the bottom it'll say "Internet Programs with a clickable link to "set programs" - click that then click to "Set Defaults" and wait for it to give you choices - select Yahoo Mail and that will make it the default mail program.

You may have slightly different choices to get to that desired effect depending on you computer's operating system.

I've heard good things about Rexhall but have never seen one. My rig is for sale, gonna try and downsize since I'm not fulltiming. If you're interested, check it out in the "for sale" forum or to see pictures (in case you don't remember it) on Craig's list under Loaded 2001 Gulfstream".

Rexhall made a terrific RV. It is a Christian company, if that's important to anyone. Perhaps they were more popular out here in the West, because I've seen many, many of them. Friends have a Rexhall. The line has 5 or 6 models, usually with the "Rex" or "Air" in the name: Rexair, Roseair, etc. Their interior layouts are really different and nice. For instance, my friend's rig has a sofa AND loveseat that face each other crossways of the width of the RV with a coffee table that lifts up to become a dining table in the middle. Gives them an "L" shaped kitchen that way behind the sofa. Even though they don't have any slides, the motorhome is spacious inside. The only negative I might have is not a lot of outside storage space since they usually aren't basement models, but they roll along like a Rolls Royce!

Good luck!

thanks for your input. THis one that I'm looking @ has a ton of basement storage... in fact,, the storage is abundant everywhere. One thing it does not have thaat i especially wanted was a bathtub (sort of) and a rear kitchen.. but i have found those difficult to find and i DO love the floor plan of this particular one. Also,, it does have one slide out,,in the living room area...which is nice.

Don't ya'll think that it's a good buy for that money and that little of mileage? I need ya'lls expert input...

note to karen in my next post,,,,

thanks again,,Pooker,,, im encouraged just gotta see if we ccan dig up the money.. ;)

i had a hard time sleeping last nite,, w/ that MH in my head... :D

Karen,,, glad to know you're ok but a little sad to see you are getting off the road... but I guess that comes to all of us,, sooner or later...
how are the pups? hope you all have fared ok in this infernal heat we are having. As for me,, I am SICK of it,, w/ a capital SICK!

I vow every year that I am not gonna spend another summer down here,, and yet,, here I am,, a prisoner in it... :x

YOu know it's cuz i still have mama but now I have Roy and that helps tremendously .. oh by the way,,congratulate me,,I am engaged! Yep! Found the nearest thing to perfect guy that there is (None perfect, as we all know) but he and I meld well and are both on the same wave length when it comes to what we wanna do in our spare time. For now, he is back working to build up his SS and make some traveling money to squirrel away for our old age...along w/ our SS..sooooo....he helps me lots w/ mama and the household stuff.

Still in the wannabe stage but edging closer as the days go by,, I guess,, one never knows,,, but this MH jumped into my sights and so I am SOOOO tempted. Thanks for the info on yours.. but w/ this one having all that we want and need,,,and the LOW LOW mileage (11,200) i am thinking positively,,, don't ya think so?

Take care and keep praying for better weather... yeah,, don't we wish we had california weather!

later, gal!

Janet, I agree that price and everything sounds great. Now, go test everything. Start the generator from a cold start. Put the slide in and out - see if it makes getting to anything when in difficult (there are times you might not be able to put it out). Sit everywhere from the drivers seat to every seat in it. Lie on the bed. Open every single door. If it has any sort of leveling system, have them show you how it works and WORK it. In other words, make sure everything really does work. If it's not plugged in get it plugged in and make sure things switch as they are supposed to on the fridge, etc.

And if it's got what you want, make an offer.

Congrats on the engagement. Glad to hear you happy.

CONGRATULATIONS, JANET! Life is really meant to be shared, I firmly believe. I love doing things that I love to do, even by myself, but I love doing those things even better with others who love to do them, too!

I havent checked the site for the hall thing yet, but it sure sounds like a good price to me! May you find you can swing the price together, and hit the road somewhere down the line! How wonderful to be happy!

How fortunate I am to be able to glean knowledge from all of ya'll's experience of doing what I love to do and can't wait to get started full time,, (or at least half of the time) For sure I wanna vacate these premises during the unbearable hot time of the year,, which is about half of the year... Be sure to check it thoroughly for any signs of leaks or soft spots from old leaks. Sounds nice and could be a great deal. Almost never used is not always good if it just sat and wasn't maintained. Ask why they are selling. Good luck, I hope it is just the rig for you and remember, good traveling and RVing weather is just around the corner in Texas.

Hello Janet,

Congrats on your engagement. Seems to be a nice RV, ditto on what Beth said about checking it all out. Good luck on your search...this may be the one.
