I'm so happy to be here!

Come on in and say hello.

I'm so happy to be here!

Hi,

My name is Belle. I began my life as Fifi the Flamingo and spent my first days with other homeless bells waiting in a store to be adopted. I was one of the luckiest ones, because I was adopted by this wonderful group of ladies on the womenrv forum to be your mascot. Sprinter and Paulette found me and took me to the PA GTG in July, 2008 where I was presented to RV Granny (Lori) to be my first caretaker. I spent many happy months with Lori and Ernie in their 5th wheel, visiting Military campgrounds near Gettysburg, Ft. Knox, KY, TN, and Arkansas. Lori bought me a soft carrying bag and started a journal of my travels for me. She is sooooo nice!

I am now at the Texas GTG in Kerrville, TX, where I have met some more of our great sisters and was passed on to Liz to be my next caretaker. It is my goal to travel far and wide and eventually meet all of our members on this forum.

Watch for news of my travels in the new topic Beth created just for me.
Happy travels to all,
Belle, the womenrv.com mascot

Welcome to the forum, Belle - glad you've decided to join and tell us about your travels. I'm glad to say I was able to meet you at this gtg - and I know you are one lucky flamingo to have been able to travel with Lori and now with Liz. It'll sure be interesting to see where you go next and when you get to change hands again.

WELCOME, BELLE!!!!!

I see that you like the same kind of dark German beer that I love, so we can share some when I meet you in person!

It occurs to me that you might need some warm boots for those little delicate legs you have for when you come up here to the north in the Adirondacks....even in the summer, boots feel pretty good! I will keep an eye out for some that might fit you!

Sometimes we have a tradition up here in the northern boonies called 'being flamingoed'!!! It consists of a person waking up to some 50 or more flamingos on her lawn, which have to remain in place until a contribution is made to whatever the cause of the day happens to be.....usually a needy social service or local animal shelter, or something similar. It usually produces a great donation promptly, as the flamingoed person feels embarrassed to have so many of your relatives on his property, especially as flamingos are certainly NOT native to this neck of the woods!

Can't wait to meet you in person, Belle! Happy trails until we meet!

Welcome Belle! It looks like you have been enjoying the fun at the TX GTG,... Say "hi" to my pal Liz, and of course Roe and Bandit. I'm sure you will have a great time riding along with them for a while now!

Well WELCOME to our newest member!

Hey Belle jump right in and tell us all. Fluff that nest and make yourself right to home and be sure to post lots of pictures on your travels with Liz!

I can just imagine the photo ops you are going to enjoy with Liz. She takes the most amazingly simple subjects and turns them into art. I can hardly wait to see you styling.
