I broght in another load of logs. Ernie is out running the roads so somebody has to do it!! I threw a couple logs on the fire and some of that stuff to make it pretty. I'm having a cup of coffee from the morning thread but if today is like yesterday, there may not be anything left on the wall come night. Bash had to go for a root canal and I went to my chiropractor while she was doing that. Bash had a bad day with dentists and ended up having a root canal and another tooth pulled. It was a tough day for everyone. She is having a real hard time eating, but all this has to be done before she can have knee replacement. Give me one--just in case one of us needs it!! I think that leaves 51 bottles. If I'm wrong, Lori will straighten me out when she gets here!!

Hey ya'll. We got a special treat at the campfire tonight. We got some bluegrass music around the fire. I threw some extra logs on the fire, pulled up some more chairs and put on a big pot of coffee for those who don't frequent the wall. I'm grabbing a cold one and pulling up my chair. Got my fuzzy blanket in case I get cold. Pull up a chair and enjoy. Ii've tried to post the pic twice and lost it both times so I thought I'd do the post then try to post the picture.

well, about time to just sit and relax before heading off to bed. I really had a busy
day so a hot toddy would be great and of course I have to stir the fire a little and
toss on a little more wood. Took the sofa apart and out the door. The mattress in it
was never used, had brand new bedding on it too. Put that part upstairs on top of
my other mattress and now my bed seems really huge, very comfy though. I have a
little corner desk out in storage I'm going to bring in for my sewing machine. Used
it many years ago at my old cabin and it was hand made by a dear friend long departed.
The empty space right now looks quite nice, so roomy
Then, with the left over laundry to do, its been a busy one in deed. At least I only have
one day to work and then its a holiday, and will go honor the vets.
The last 3 days of work for the week will be the longesttttttttttt. It always seems that
way when we have a holiday. So, next weekend I'll get my sewing corner set up. :P
Ok, one more hot toddy and I'm off to lala land.

I got the stuff for S'mores right here. What I would really love to have is some of that maple flavored taffy you get up in maple syrup country in the northeast. We went to some place called the Sugar Shack on the fall folliage tour I was on several years ago and I have never had taffy that good!!! Also got a cup of steaming hot chocolate----too cold for a cold one in the middle of the night. That fire sure does feel good!!

GREAT campfire singalong picture, Fernie! Sure do wish you had the audio to go along with it!

I am still trying to get the hang of reading this campfire site. I guess if I stay on page one and just scroll down to the order drop-down window and switch to descending rather than ascending, I should get the most recent posts? There are a ton of posts on this thread!

Today is laundry day for me, then practice violin and guitar, and just take it easy until back to work tomorrow.

Hope to get in here some night when the campfire is roaring!

When you click on to the campfire, just go to the last page your computer shows then scroll down. It is a long thread. Beth---can you make one of my double posts go away. Sorry-----didn't mean to do that.!!
