Thursday dawns....eventful week winding down

Good Thursday morning!

I'm not really sure what I am supposed to do here when I am the first one up. I feel guilty making the first entry in someone else's 'area'...but should I start a whole new room, or something? Or should I just add a post to yesterday's spot? Or in another general room? When I first began on here, I didn't realize this was Barb's special room....I thought it was just a room with a name to begin a day's group of posts? I guess I need some advice as to what I should do here. I realize that Barb has family to deal with right now, and is absent. But when she comes back, what if I am the first one up?

Anyway, I will await some direction here as I sure don't want to step on anyone's toes!

I have hazlenut creme coffee again this morning, and some small bananas to share. It's warm out again....around 32 F. I look forward to reading posts in here when I get back in the afternoons. Hope you all have a great day! Am now going to look for new pics at the GTG site to see what you girls have been doing!

I'm here Soos,.... thanks for the great coffee. Don't fret a think Soos, you are doing a great job,... you beat Echo and I and everyone else up every day. To answer your question,... Zeee's Morning Coffee has always had the initial post done by our beloved Barbzeee,... where she starts with some artwork and then does a rundown of the activity the day before. I'm sure she will pick that up again eventually, but for now what you are doing is just fine! We were all taking turns keeping it alive until she returns, but you just are our earliest riser and we thank you for "putting the coffee on!"

I'm glad you got the coffee going to. I got up because I saw Bash had the living room light on and grabbed the choc. chip cookies I made yesterday coming through the kitchen. I also got a glass of milk cause I was too lazy to make coffee that early. Barbzeee will be glad you are putting the coffee pot on------too bad for Echo and Cedar you beat them up!! LOL I'm headed back to bed to see if I can get a short nap!!! Have a great day ya'll.

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Oh Yawn, I'm so not ready to start the day. I've been up for a while, guzzling coffee, plus I've been in and out of the shower and I am now dressed. But.... I am still trying to get the motor running. Must be today is gonna be a rough one! Somewhere between 10:30 and 1pm I will be yelling that it's nap time.

Not to bad here this morning tho it's a little frosty so I'll have to scrape the windows on the Blazer. Now yesterday it was the same temps but no frost just a whole lot of wet dew. But for sure the everyday scraping of frost and ice is coming to my corner of NE TN.

My hair now that I've gotten it cut is about an inch on the sides and back but the top is longer maybe about 2 inches. Sure feels different tho. I took my shower and ruffled my hair with my towel and it about dried it! Feel kinda naked really. Got thinking about it and I think I was about 12 or 13 the last time I had hair this short. Mom had to take me to get a "Pixe" cut when I got home from California with my brother and his family. My SIL had a thing about long hair and told me that my Mom said I had to have it cut. She had told my Mom I wanted it cut. But anyway it was a butcher job a friend of her's did. So we had to get something done to repair it. Boy when Mom found out about the lying???? The sheet hit the fan, wowee! One good thing about getting a haircut ya might end up hating is that it always grows out. Thank goodness.

Ok Kelly is showered and getting dressed so I had better get my butt in gear, fire up the Blazer and get to scraping. ~sigh~

Hey Soos, Relax... I appreciate you and all my Sista's filling in for me... at this point and time in my life I have huge issuse that have to be dealt with... and as soon as I can feel comfortable and able to be my old self I'll be back... You are not taking anyone's shoes...cause first of all I'm sure mine wouldn't fit... LOL and secondly.. I earned my throne , no only joking... goodness felt good to laugh..

Right now our family is just dealing with life on a day to day basis...and that's about all we can handle...my only request is that you all keep them prayers coming cause I know my hatred is sending my asp to he77... there is no other way I can describe it... Our emotions have totally lost it...

My coffee pot has been a tad bit tarnished...but I'm practicing polishing it..a few times I have to say... I threw the damn thing out !!! but that little voice inside me came about... cause I do so miss all my Sista's we've been through a lot together...Good Bad or Indifferent...

Janice..I'm proud of your work...although we have different political issues..but hey... we all can't be purrrrrr fect !!!!

My wounds are slowly mending..more like a roller coaster...but soon I'll be able to get off them ups and downs... Ange's birthday is coming and then it's on to a long battle...I most certainly will be pulling from all of you... your strength will help carry me through...

I pray no one will ever have to go through such horrific nightmares...Lord please give us all some peace...

Now...I have to give you all a group hug..cause I do so miss everyone...

You have my heart what's left of it... uh oh. need a dish rag...

Good Morning, All......Drinking my coffee and getting the motor going.... Ernie's about ready to do his 1st walk of the day....

Don't see anyone else out and about yet, but am sure the fur-kids have had them all up and out for a short walk...

Okay....going to read a little here then into the shower so I can be ready by 10am...for more fun, food, and photos.

It is a little cool & it is windy here this morning------- we usually don't feel the wind here------ or I should say compared to what we had in Kansas we don't feel the wind here!!!!!!
We had a really nice rain in the night-------& we lost more of our beautiful leaves with the rain-- but the trees are still just beautiful!!!!!!!
Branson is totally lighted for Christmas!!!!!!!!!! Christmas lights every where------ the Ozark Christmas Season is in full swing!!!!!
Last night there were 7 tour buses at one eating place-- close to our home------- it is tour bus heaven here right now!!!!

Good morning everybody! We're up over here, Lori. But somebody please remind me not to have coke at lunch time today, ok? After yesterday's super-sized coke in San Antonio I was so wired I couldn't go to sleep last night. Then after I finally got sleepy, I had to climb down from my aerie to go pee. Whew!

Roe, Maggie, and I have had a morning walk along the river trail, and just finished breakfast. We met Jill and Tommy walking their two fur babies and nearly had a dog fight on our hands. Maggie is the smallest of the bunch, but thinks she's the biggest and toughest!

Today we're off to Fredricksburg, but I'm not sure exactly what we're going to see, except for Texas Stonehenge. It will be a happy surprise. Belle is getting all polished up for the photos we'll be taking.

Fredricksburg is a fun town to window shop, we had lunch with a large group of friends at the German Restaurant ( can't remember the name). Are you going to the LBJ Ranch? Don't forget to stop at Luckenbach! Have fun!!

Barb, I have a cinnamon/apple candle burning for you and your family here, to send love and strength your way. I can't even imagine what you and yours are going through, and hope I never have to find out what it's like.

Thanks for your post to let me know it's ok to be an early bird! I can't wait for you to return, but, on the weekdays, at least, I may be the first one up around here. (Weekends, now....that's a whole different scene!)
