Are you talking about the wholesale club or Good Sams?

I never renewed membership to Good Sam Club after the 1st year. I found I didn't take advantage of what they had to offer. I do use the ERS, but you don't have to be a member for that. Linda

I've used my membership and saved at two campgrounds so far (I'm new at this so haven't camped much yet). I just read that they are instituting a fuel savings plan. Hope it is soon. I did get my ERS through Good Sams at a discount. You say you are not a traveler, so I am not sure why you would want to be a member.

I like their magazine, which I now read online. And if you live in an area with an active state or local chapter, you might be able to do some local camping in groups. I know many who love doing that. I enjoy their big "The Rally" when it's at a time and place that I can go. Have gone twice and will go again. The 10% discount on camping isn't much, but I do use it if a cg offers it and doesn't haven any other better discounts I can get :) It's not a must have membership but inexpensive enough that I keep up my membership for the things I like about them.
