Mini Ruby Mountain GTG (past)

I spent a fantastic week at the Thomas Canyon Campground where our Patty from Auburn is camp hosting. She was just the best and I'm so happy we got to know each other through this forum. :)

My blog is updated with my posts from that week at .....

And here is a pic of Patty and Doung (who shares camp hosting with her).

What an awesome looking place and great hiking territory. No wonder Patti works at that park each yr. , really nice CG.

..

I don't usually leave the Forum to go to blogs, but the pictures' descriptions sounded to good to pass up. And they're were! Absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing.

Just caught up on your blog. So hard to imagine the cold and snow as I sit here with heat index pushing 110! I enjoyed your trip and the brief cool down. Thanks.

The year after my husband died I was in the process of signing up for a "volunteer" vacation in the Ruby Mountains when my SIL (Carolinagal) invited me to travel with her that summer in her RV to Yellowstone. So history was changed then and my RVing life began. Haven't gotten to Ruby Mts yet, so it's definitely on my list now.
