Here are a few more pics of our trip. It couldn't have been a nicer week on so many accounts. Perfect weather, great friends to visit with, and lots of swim time for Jed.
Here's our little (and I mean little!) campsite. It was too breezy to put out the awning, but I've got my chair that has an awning on it & it does just the job for keeping me out of the sun.
This is my Sewer Solution. I know ... it might not be the most beautiful picture, but I wanted everyone who was interested to see it. I couldn't be happier with the way it works -- absolutely no worry about accidents, & no mechanical parts (like a macerator) to go wrong. It all works with high-pressure water. This shows the connection at the trailer. I've added the clear piece -- NOT because I like grossness, but I needed to extend the hook-ups beyond the pull levers on the trailer. But it helps me know when my black tank is clean, so it's a good thing.
This is what the Sewer Solution looks like at the sewer pipe. The hose is slightly larger than a regular garden hose. It comes with a rubber "donut" and an additional one that adapts to different size sewer outlets. Makes for a nice fit & doesn't pop out at inopportune times.
Jed, resting on the couch (notice how much room he gets?) after a day of swimming:
And one more of him in the back of the car, ready to head back to the trailer.
I have a short video of him paddling out to get his tennis ball. It's not the best quality as it was taken with my little point-and-shoot camera. (But I don't know how to add it without adding the whole PB album. Any suggestions?) He did well and I'm pleased to see his stamina returning. I hope we can go to the beach this summer where he can run along the surf.
Herschel, you would love it out here! Hope you and your GHL can come visit some time ... along with anyone else who'd like to.
