Congrats Li! I know how long 5 months can seem but believe me, it wasn't enough time for me. Having retired from both the federal govt and a state govt. job I know about the crazy part. You have certainly earned your rest.

Rotten???? No way. That is her timid "What are you pointing that thing at me for?" look. She was used for breeding her first nine years and lived in a kennel. When I "rescued" her she was extremely timid; unaccustomed to normal everyday noise and events. In the beginning, she wouldn't even take a treat from my hand. I've had her just over a year and she's come a long way but even today she is leery of many things. She is now very sweet and lovable with me but it took a lot of patience to get there.

Oh Joan, I had no idea she was a rescue puppy! What a horrible life to have lived, and how lucky she is to have found you and you her. Bless her little furry heart! Give her a hug and kiss from me. Tell her that heaven is hers cuz she's already been thru hell!

Keep yourself busy with friends and things you enjoy and the time will fly.
Soon you will reap the rewards of working a long time.
The only thing I missed From my job as Asst HR Director was the money.
Now I work part time and really enjoy it.
