June 26, 2011 - GTG with Sharon and Karen

Hi,

Sharon Souter (sprinter) and Sharon Siltner were passing near my home, so we were able to have lunch together. We ate at favorite local eatery by locals and tourist, Crawfish Town. Here are a few pics of our gtg. A delicious meal and great conversation.

I did it! I peeled my first crawfish!


I ate my first boilded crawfish! All good! Sharon is now an honary Cajun!

Looks like you guys had fun but the only I eat that needs peeling is an orange. By the way, I miss Sharon - send her back.

I am so jealous of you guys. That is such wonderful food. Only thing you are missing is Etoufee!! Another great GTG with good friends, good food, had good time.

Food again!! Last week it was ribs and now it's fried oysters! AGHHHHHHHHH!! I'm dyin' out here girls!

The gtr looks like loads of fun, but give me meat anyday! As in ribs and chicken! Close to that part of the country, but woudnt make an honorary cajun! Wendy

Oh, what a great gtg!
I love oysters but am with Karen on peeling the crawfish tho I do like Etoufee (already peeled).
Sharon may have to plan on staying in the SE longer this fall so she can sample all the good eats.

Love the pics. Don't necessarily love all the things on them Have tried it all though. So glad you got to spend time together.
