Allstays Camp and RV app

Allstays Camp and RV app

Postby AlmostThere » Sat Jul 02, 2011 12:20 pm

I just came across an app for iPhone and iPads. It costs 5.99 and seems to have many of the features offered in the Rand NcNally GPS for RVers. Might be worth checking into.

Their website is allstays.com/apps/
They do offer the app for androids.

..

FYI - AllStays is one word, in case you go looking for it on iTunes.

It has great user ratings on iTunes.
Includes height restrictions.
How can ya go wrong for six bucks.

Thanks, Lenora.

Didn't have much time to check this out yesterday, but it looked great. Put it on my favorites for further investigation and possible app for my phone. Thanks, Lenora! Now if POGO would just do an app for smart phones I might be a happy camper. They have one for iphones....

My workamper friend, Joe, has this app and he likes it. I have heard it's not always up to date, so probably should still call the cg before you decide to stay and verify price, etc. Looks like it would be good to see what byways have low bridges, etc. I use a trucker's atlas for that, but would be nice to have another option.

Trailer life also has a campground directory (for the IPhone anyway). And there is an app called iExit that is like the book...next exit. Both work pretty well. Would like to use them more!
