Hi Ladies!

It’s been great reading this message board over the last several weeks – what a nice/fun/informative group!!!

My name is Donna (nickname Dee) and I’ve had my 2010 Sunseeker 2300 (Class C, 24 ft.) for a year. It’s perfect for my 2 cats and me. I'm a dog lover too--maybe next year... ;). I’ve wanted an RV since I was 8y.o. and decided to “just do it”!

I’ve traveled 2000 miles already but mainly doing trips 100-300 miles away. It’s time to get a little more adventurous!

I’ve had some battery/AC/thermostat issues but all should be well again when I pick up my RV from service this week. I’ve been very pleased with both customer service at Forest River (my rv’s manufacturer) and the great people at my dealership. Like many of you, I'm learning more about batteries than I ever thought I needed to know .

I’ll be posting pics soon. Love both taking pics and viewing those of others!!!!

Dee
P.S. I’m from the Philly area and will be signing up for the Lake in Wood get-together in PA (waving hi to Beth and others that will be there).

Hi and Welcome, Dee! Was reading this post and thinking we'll have to "get you" to the LIW gtg, and then I read you already are planning on it. How great. Can't wait. Meantime, join in here there and everywhere and we'll be good friends by Sept!

I've been planning to make a day trip to Valley Forge, and possibly into Philly again - so maybe we'll be able to meet before then. Either way - glad you're here and glad you've been getting your feet wet. The long trips are nothing more than a series of short trips.

Welcome to the forum. I'm in South Louisiana but my son was at McGuire Air Force Base so I have flown in and out of Philly a few times. A couple of years ago I spent a week in Penn Presbyterian Hospital when he had surgery. Great hospital. If you pass this way let us know, there are 3 members in South Louisiana. The 2 weeks I was up there it snowed a foot both weeks. You need to head south for the winter. lol

Love the pics. My rig is a back corner bed, also. Works great for me. I wish my upper bunk area looked as nice and neat as yours. I've collected way too much "junk" that stows up there. Keep saying I'm going to get rid of it - last year cleared it out pretty good, but it just works so well for storage that when I sit I "throw" things there.

Thought about moving your pics to the show off your rig room, but decided with all the fur babies also, it almost could have gone in the pet room. So just left it here and hopefully people will find them all. LOVE your cats. They are gorgeous.

Thanks Beth,
I also thought of putting the pics in the rig and pet rooms but I have plenty to go there too. You'll all be sick of my pics before long ;).

I love having the storage room in the upper bunk area. Great for my cats and their crates -- one of the reasons that I chose the RV. I'm sure I'll be collecting much more stuff each trip and it won't look so neat for long. I love the idea of throwing things up there!!!!
