Slept in my own bed last night ...

Postby Getupngo » Sat Nov 01, 2008 11:59 pm

... had to write a BIG check to get it, but I now have an upgraded transmission with my own sheets, pillow & comforter. I'm glad to be home. My hosts here in Montrose were SO kind ... but I hate being under someone else's roof. I keep trying to act invisible ... must be from my dysfunctional upbringing.

The weather here has been just gorgeous, but it's supposed to turn rainy Sunday night, on and off thru Wednesday, when it's rain/snow. Which is just great ... 'cuz that's when I'll be leaving.

After we've elected a new president. ;)

I had some excitement tonight. Our candidate did a national conference call with all the campaign offices, and he gave us a pep talk. It was really exciting. I felt truly part of it all.

sleeping in your own bed, ahhh, that had to feel good. I can't imagine
what it would be like to have to sleep in a strangers home, but god
bless them for taking you in. Your map looks great but I'd say you need
to color in arizona so I'm looking forward to the day you head this way :P
And don't forget to take local pictures of Montrose before you leave :P

Ahhhhhhh........ your own bed! Good for you! And also, I'm enjoying your descriptions of the campaign work and your excitement there. Another rv'er from a different forum is also doing the same thing for same candidate and she's in working PA. She'll head south in her motorhome after election. It's an experience you will never forget!
