Susan, I thought I had welcomed you. I am from the S central we're in the same neck of the woods so to speak. I am an occasional traveler, having roots still in my hometown. I'm even still in business but have a great partner who makes it possible for me to take off. I am planning a trip leaving July 5 or 6 to the NW. My daughter in Seattle will be my turnaround with N going up and S coming back. Anyone wanting to jump in and convoy just holler Feel free to tell us about your day or your life, we're always interested, if not a little nosy. Send pics too, it makes our day Hope to meet you somewhere out there.

I know, I'm late to the welcome party too, but I do have my excuses Glad you found us and look forward to posts of your trips and of course like the others said, we do love pictures
Welcome to the forum, Susan. You're just a hoot 'n' holler from my SIL, member Carolinagal, in the SW corner of NC. I too have 2 gds near Augusta, in Grovetown.
Thanks everybody for such the campfire welcome! We have been lazing around the pool and waiting to go camping. We usually camp during the fall, winter, and spring but have dying to go. We are starting to plan our trips out and just can't wait. We know we are going to Elkmont campground in Gatlinburg TN. If you have never been it is a great campground with a creek that runs through the middle of it. So peaceful. We have so many we want to go to I am not sure we are going to get to everywhere. We usually make several trips to Cloudland Canyon State Park in Georgia which is one of our favorites. It is about 40 minutes from the house so we make it there really quickly after work on a Friday. Who knows where we will land I just can't wait. I have plenty of pictures to share and will soon when I get the a few minutes from work. Thanks again for all the warm welcomes. Susan
