Destin Wedding bound!

Here I sit! I need to leave this house at least with the superficial dust and dog hair raked out only to be brought back in, just an old habit. My granddaughter's beach wedding is Sat nite. I'm leaving tomorrow in order to drive like I want to, stop when I want or need to, arrive when I want to and meander around by myself until the festivities begin on Friday. Rudy stays home with Mel and Lucy (his dog) this time. I might have mentioned in our Pet Store I have a corner for handmade in america items. I hope to catch a good A&C show to pick up some items. I could take items from my house and fill it up but just not ready yet to part with them. This is not my favorite time to visit the coast. My days of lying on a beach are over. I have walked the beach many January's and absolutely love that time of year. Destiny is all checked out, the refridg is cooling and now for just loading her up. I have a little paperwork to finish up at my desk, leave notes to Mel...and hopefully I'll be on my way by 10 AM tomorrow. Mel has already proven he can handle it all as I have taken some short trips before but as I plan a longer one it doesn't hurt for him to rehearse occasionally. I am so looking forward to that feeling that starts at my toes and ends up in a big grin as I crank her up and get out of 'Dodge'..
