Hey Linda, just wishing you a Happy Birthday. And we share the same Bday. Today is my birthday too. Course I'm sure we don't share the same age :) But hope you had a great day. I was working the afternoon shift at work, so it was just anothe day for me per say, no chance to celebrate or go out for dinner or whatever. Did treat my self to an ice cream cone after I got out of work though. Gota do what a person has to do.

SURE HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LINDA!

Molly tried to eat the cake, but I stopped her so I could taste it myself!

Good thing Barbie told me about this thread or I may have missed it :o Thanks so much, everyone, for the wonderful birthday wishes :D The Barbie and Ken one with my face superimposed on the Barbie was HILARIOUS    I love it :!: Lots of cake, too...thanks, girls!

Ken gave me a nice birthday card and some practical gifts. He has been keeping track of things I must have mentioned that I wanted. I got a bike mirror, waterproof case for my Droid phone (for kayaking), and new wrist guards (mine were trashed & I have to wear them when I sleep so my hands don't go numb). He admits he's not very romantic. He said he would have bought me jewelry, but knows I don't wear it much anymore. In my current lifestyle, practical works ;)

Ken and I went for a bike ride today on the nearby bike trail. We ended up riding for 22 miles. Made some stops along the way and found 5 geocaches and picked wild strawberries for my cereal in the morning :D Ken treated me to lunch in a little town, just off the bike trail. We had a bbq pork sandwich and it was yummy :) A little bit further and we would have gone to the Country Dairy, but we decided to start earlier next time and go there for a tour and ice cream. We had ice cream when we finished our ride, at an ice cream shop on the trail. Lots of cute little towns here 8-)
