Yeah Barb, I know....but there isn't anyone I dislike enough to want to wish this piece of #$#^*% camera on anyway....Hellooooo Salvation Army...
Anyhow, don't know how to use the private message part of this forum so I'll have to post my question here........Liz.....Can you tell me if I should buy the AC Adapter kit for this camera? The prices on line range from the high $50's to the low $20's on the battery sites......Don't want to bother you but have no one else to ask..........At the same time...is there anything special I should be thinking about buying for this fantastic camera....just in case they stop making stuff (like they have on my Garmin with the map upgrades gone)....Your advice will be appreciated so much......

Just saw this. Hope you are still loving your Canon! I can't advise you on the adapter...don't have one. I just feed mine Duracell batteries
Buy a sturdy little zippered case with a belt loop, so it's always handy but won't fall out when you bend over. Voice of experience.

Got it !! Thank you....Mine came with a case but it has the velcro catch which probably wouldn't hold if it was upside down...No problem...I've got a case from my Sony that I'll use. But I really think I'm going to look into the adapter and also getting re-chargeable batteries...Anyhow...love the camera...just gotta figure out how to use it. Think I'll have time in the evenings when I park while on my trip to Colorado.... I am so excited & the camera is just great....
