Good news...hoping you continue to stay "high and dry"!

Okay, Ms Patin. Where is the water now? Just wondering as it is raining up stream, so to speak.

Loving the news thus far, Carolyn, and will keep fingers crossed that most of the water stays out of your house. What agony to watch the liquid creep up and up and up. Hope to hear more good news from you soon.

No water in house. Water is receding. I was able to get half my stuff moved. Hopefully, the rest will get move next week. I am still not living at home, but it is getting close. "-)

Carolyn, I am so sorry to hear of your miss fortune. Just be safe and take care of your father. Wish there was some way to help....prayers are the easy thing to do and you will have them, I will add you to my prayer list for certain.
I need to contact So Dak, as another woman wrote about the flooding also. She lives in that are.
Again take care and be safe. rita

Carolyn, I'm so glad your home was spared! Now you can get everything moved back in and settled, it'll be good for both you and your Dad to be back home. Hopefully there won't be any hurricanes come in this season!!!

Every so often life just seems to grab you by the scuff of the neck and shake you crazy before letting you drop. Glad you have landed on your feet! Hope all the worrying, fretting, and hard work is over and you can get your life, and your Dad's, back to normal (whatever normal is these days).

Hello,

Well, I was able to get the last of the stuff back home early Friday morning, but have not moved back home.

On a very sad note, we had to call hospice in for my father Thursday night.
