Re: Crater Lake camping, two places that I know about (maybe more) are Diamond Lake Resort at the NORTH entrance and Mazama Campground inside the park at the SOUTH entrance.

We will be at Mazama on Sat and Sun, August 13 and 14. Warning....traveling with TWO teenage boys! They are a handful, but lots of fun too!

I received this email today from the CG:

Dear Bullards Beach State Park Customer,

Our records indicate that you have a one or more reservations at Bullards Beach State Park this summer.

Beginning August 1st, and going through March 31st, 2012, construction will begin on a new wastewater disposal system. Horse campers will likely see increased traffic, including some heavy equipment. There may also be construction noise throughout the day in both the horse camp area and the main campground. Utility systems will not be affected.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Reservations Northwest at 1-800-452-5687, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. We look forward to your visit to Bullards Beach State Park and hope your stay is enjoyable.

Guess I got here a little too early for the GTG I do have a good imagination, so I'll just pretend you gals are outside partying and have a glass of wine with you and stuff myself with all the goodies you've made. Think you'll like the park and Bandon. Lots of shops and restaurants in town and the beach is great. Hopefully the weather will clear up by the time you get here.
