This is not about any party affiliation since there seems to be equality among offenders but does anyone else think that men who can't think with the big brain also cannot make intelligent governing decisions? The only regret they have is that they get caught. Throw the bums out!

The sad part is that bad behavior is not new. Many politicians have been behaving in similar ways for centuries it is just in the recent decades that private behaviors get reported so publicly. I often try to imagine those earlier times and the number of individuals that would have had knowledge of mistresses, etc and would remain silent because that was what was expected. Sort of what the articles about the changes in France refer to and what there women there are beginning to no longer accept as normal.

The problem is that bad behavior has become so commonplace that people accept it without question these days...& yes, I agree, there's so many people watching that very little doesn't get reported these days.....I've gone beyond what goes on with who or where....my problem is, if all this crap goes on supposedly behind closed doors (whether democrat or republican), what kind of representation do we as a people really have....if people can lie about their 'personal' stuff....what kind of faith can we have in them regarding the decisions they make representing us & our country.........

I just find it amazing that someone who could get themselves elected to public office would post compromising pictures of themselves on the internet or send them to a cell phone. How private do they think these things are? HOW STUPID CAN THEY BE???? And they're helping to run our country? Scary huh?

Like Joan said, the little brain rules for these egomaniacs. I do believe there are still honest, ethical men and women elected and even remaining so after being amongst the bad apples. This has always occurred and always will. I do believe they should resign when they are caught with their private parts exposed. I was sick to my stomach watching 'Weiner' blubbering and apologizing over and over. As one of you said, they are only sorry for being caught.

The problem seems to be not only politicians but sports figures as well. How do these people who live so much in the public eye think they can do something and get away with something that the vast majority of us wouldn't even try for fear of getting caught??

Makes absolutely no sense at all. And it just seems to be happening over and over.

And I really feel sorry for the women who married these idiots, and their poor children. I can't imagine how bad it must feel for the kids.

They are ALWAYS sorry after being caught. Why should anyone believe the apology? They enjoyed doing it before getting caught, feeling all so powerful and above the law, and kept doing it until they were caught. No compassion for them here. Throw the bums out. Linda

I think she knew about his "activities". He probably promised to stop before their wedding,(just like drug addicts and alcoholics) but obviously never did. I heard her comment of being saddened by the events. This makes be believe that she knew beforehand and was not surprised. The people in his district don't mind at all, in fact, they don't want him to resign. Go figure. Linda
