I'm so happy the surgery is over and went well.
You were wise to go home and rest. Also to get away from things for a bit. You'll have your hands full soon enough when he's at home.
Love and continued prayers.
PS good for you in re-experiencing the freedom of driving your little car again!

Yayhoo! So glad that the Drivers tune-up came out as expected, now he's good for another 100,000 miles. Tell him that if he doesn't wear his "bra", you're gonna wrap his chest in duct tape and it ain't gonna be pretty when you rip it off! You can tell him it was a suggestion from the "girls".

So glad you're enjoying driving your sports car...It's a form of relaxation and renewal. Take time for you, my dear.

Glad to hear the surgery went well and the Driver is on the mend. Duct tape comes in hot pink now, so he will definitely know who sent it. :D Take care of yourself too. Linda

Absolutely wonderful news. And I was so glad to read that you enjoyed driving your car. I had been thinking about that great little car of yours and was going to offer to take it off your hands if you really didn't enjoy driving it. Glad you went home to your bed, as you need to think about and take care of you - you won't have as much time to do so when Bill gets home. And they might not want the "Driver" driving for awhile.

More hugs.

rest up and besides if he isn't feeling comfortable the "trained" staff can deal with him. Between flirting with nurses, etc, he is bound to treat them better than you when the pain and cranky hit.

Great news! I'd vote for the hot pink duct tape, too! Now begins the REAL fun - being the designated driver, getting the Driver back in fine form, putting up with grumbles and gripes.
