Good Morning ladies
coffee is on and theses cinnamon toast for the tummy. Today will be a weird day, have quarterly meeting at 9 for two hours at Blue Sky, then back home and do a few chores or whatever, then back to work for the dinner break shift. Getting lots of extra time at the airport but still getting days off in between. Makes it interesting and I still get stuff done.
Its only 70 degrees at the moment but it feels like its going to warm up into the 90's. Will have to check the weather prediction and see.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good morning all. Quite cloudy and have no idea when we'll see the sun again. At least it's warm. Housework and homework for me today. Either that or online shopping...

Ava, must have missed something along the way. How long has your stomache been upset? Are you recovering from an illness? Any secret family recipes I can send you? ;)

Have a good day!

Good Morning... it will be a hot one here in the 90s... spent a long time on the phone with Apple this morning... the other call I made a few weeks ago did not show a virus... this one did not also... so never fear Apple is fine... now that he lead me through correcting the problems I had the computer is fine... whew... so glad...
Coffee and toast is good Ava thanks...
Amy and Ava and all that follow have a great day...

Ava and I must have posted at the same time so I deleted my post and put it here.

Good morning, going to be a hot one here today. I went out early and took one dog for a very short walk, the other two just looked at me like 'you've got to be kidding'!

Is anyone else having trouble sleeping? I fell asleep on the couch around nine last night and DH woke me at eleven and said time for bed. I wish he had left me there as I was in a deep deep sleep and when I got to bed of course my eyes popped open. Good thing I like HGTV, reruns of I Love Lucy and Golden Girls as that's about all that is on our channels, I was still awake at 2:30 and Charley woke me at five. I think a nap is in my near future. Seems like everyone I've talked to has commented on not sleeping well the last week, maybe it's the phase of the moon.

I had to send my Macbook in for repair for the umpteenth time, tried to talk them into letting me pay the difference and get a Macbook Pro but wasn't successful. They do have good service and I usually have it back on the second day after I mail it. Does anyone put virus protection on their Mac? I was told when I bought it that it isn't necessary but wonder if the situation has changed I forgot to ask when I talked to them this time.

Keep cool or keep warm depending on your situation. Anyone with snow want company!?

Good Morning from the sunny, warm PNW! Phew, it's been awhile since I've been able to type that!
I slept well last night as a result of being out in the sun and fresh air most of the day, and also my pilates rebounder arrived so I put it together and worked out. Loving it so far. Now to stay committed...

Today is the second day of our subdivision's garage sales. I didn't get to any yesterday because I had the dog and he's not keen on being around all the people, kids wanting to pet him and vehicles. I was amazed at the amount of people walking around. The sidewalks in some areas were packed! :o

I also did a little grocery shopping for a dessert to take to make to take along with the meal I'm making for my neighbor. I was surprised to actually run into her at the store! She had just come from her last chemo. She has lost all her body hair as she is doing the chemo where for 6 hrs they pump it into a port that in her arm, and then two days later they use another port that pumps it directly into her abdomen. She says that one makes her tummy swell up and she gets violently sick. She's been doing this every other week since Feb 1st. She will then get a 3 mon. reprieve, then start again depending on her numbers when her blood is drawn. She said she will have to continue to get checked every 3 mons for the rest of her life.

Well, need to get the lawn mowed while it's not so hot out there. Sounds funny to say that but will take all the sun I can get as we are back to rain on Monday.

Thinking of you all with good thoughts and prayers.

Good late afternoon to all!

We got home here yesterday afternoon at about 3:00 pm!

Mandy's and my trip home was a really lot of fun! I must say that with her as navigator, and finding good places to gas up, and finding good campgrounds, and making arangements via phone to make sure said campgrounds had space for us, and suggesting we go to the inland route in the Adirondack Park at Binghampton, NY, using winding, beautiful tiny roads, including some dirt roads (!) to wend our way north, the trip was actually fun rather than stressful. I could concentrate soley on driving, knowing that she is a great map person and navigator, and she can program my TomTom like a champ! I have to admit there were a few times I almost forgot I was hauling a trailer!

We stayed at 3 KOAs, with pools and electricity for AC as it was in the 100s for temperatures, and the last night we found a NY State Campground that was beautiful! No one was at the gates or office either entering the park at about 3:30 pm, or the next morning at about 8:30-----we passed a few workers who waved at us, stopped at the gate to see if anyone came out (sign on door said stop at gate) and, when no one materialized, off we went! One free night at a beautful spot!

I am learning how to back up much better, don't panic when I get on a missed turn, know how to whip a U-Turn when legal, and much more. All in all, the trip boosted my confidence more than I could ever imagine.

Today I have done a load of laundry, gone shopping for food, and mowed half the lawn. Joe fixed my mower for me, and it runs like it used to! Baby Odin's father is a keeper! Now I need to have one can of Mike's hard lemonade and resume my mowing of VERY high grass! But, I set the mower pad high, and it's doing it! Then, in the next day or two, I will set it lower and mow it again.

Happy Saturday to all! Pictures, what scarce number of them I took, will come later when I get more organized. :)

Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
