It will be a good Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It will be a good Friday

Good morning out there, no one up yet? The day will be a good one, if we keep it in mind for it to be. Coffee is gone here, but have orange juice, apple juice , fruit and toast to offer. If enough of you show up, I'd make another pot of coffee.

So far, my day is starting out good. Have half of one of the major jobs done. Sun delayed in showing itself, (behind a cloud), so I managed to get the passenger side and front washed on the r.v., before the clouds left :) Thats the east side and when it gets out, its hot !! After a break am determined to finish drivers side and back, they stay in shade until noon, but I won't take a long break as its going to be over mid 90's here. Way above our usual temps. I don't have to say, I don't like the difference much, do I?

My day will be trying to work at some of these different projects here, to get them done and over with. I hate nastiness and still have so much to do in the cabin. No longer has an A/C in it, but stays cool for some time. Depends on how much energy, I can muster up after finishing the r.v. though. I always think I can and will do more projects in one day, then a super woman could do, let alone someone like me .

Hope you all have a Great day. Read some of you are still dealing with snow, thats so hard to believe when sweat is pouring off me. (I've always sweat, never perspired like ladies do   ). Both are really bad situations, when we were all looking forward to spring, its passed us by, and you all can't seem to get into it.

Have a good day and above all do something nice for yourself. Those traveling, stay safe.

Good morning CArol & everyone!

CArol, thanks so much for the juice! I hope you are able to get the RV washed before it gets too hot out.

It was 54 degrees this morning when I got up and we're in the high 60's right now and will top off at 77 degrees later in the day. The humidity is gone and there is a mild breeze blowing and it's a great day to be working out in the yard. Unfortunately, I'm in my office until 2:00 but will be out & about after that.

Tomorrow we are having my parents over for dinner and Sunday we are having my sister, the one that broke her ankle a few weeks ago, and her hubby over for a crab feast. Hopefully we'll have some crabs left over to pick so I can make some crabcakes. Hubby cleaned all the furniture in the gazebo and vacuumed the rug in there for me, so other than a quick wipe over the tables, we should be ready to entertain.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

good morning ladies, rather cool out here this morning too, and I do the same thing when it comes to chores and projects, think I can do more
than a super woman (like I used to) but the truth is I've actually learned to relax and smell the roses along the way, always leaves a project for
another day. That at least keeps my mind busy if not my muscles. :D Washing my bed linen today and a minor tidy up in my room. The girls just
hate it when I strip the bed and they have no where to bunch up the blankets and make a little nest. They DO have their own bed with their own
blankets but they prefer to dishevel mine. God love em :D what would I do without them?
Washer is spinning out so its time to get dressed so I can hang the laundry and get another load started. Have to work this evening so I gotta
get crackin.
Enjoy your day and be safe.

Our internet is down this AM, I called the guy we have our service with and he said Verison is having problems and some phones were also out. So...I looked at the wireless connections nearby and one one unlocked so I hopped on! Yesterday morning I helped myself to a beautiful magnolia blossom as I was walking past a neighbors yard and now today I'm helping myself to someone wi fi connection.

I'm staying in out of the heat today and doing as little work as possible. I don't handle heat and humidity well and we have plenty of both today. I downloaded some free books from Amazon the other night to my iPhone so have plenty of reading material. I'd take snow any day. I need to get my RV so I can follow the cold weather.

A friend is coming over soon to bring me some eggs and stuff from her garden I traded her a new pair of Birkenstocks that didn't quite fit me but did her for produce and eggs for the summer. We have two tomato plants but they aren't looking that great. DH does better with flowers. Have a good day.

Carol, you reminded me that my motorhome needs washing. I think I should have done it before it got to 100 degrees around here. I was looking at a post on RV.Net about a floor finish some were using on their motorhomes. The pictures looked good but think I will have to read the bottle before I try something like that.

The Ramblin Roses are having a rally on the East side of the state in 3 weeks and I would really like to go but I also want to go somewhere for the 4th. Two weekends in a row would be pushing it. I got gas at Sam's the other day and it was $3.529. That's down 35 cents from what it was. Hope it stays down.

The sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky. It is supposed to get cloudy this afternoon. It was a very cold night and my water froze, I even had it dripping. More snow showers are predicted for next week.

Slept in until 11:30 this morning! Have today and tomorrow off from work. Not sure what I am going to do yet. Need to do some cleaning around here for sure. Would like to take a day trip somewhere but don't want to spend the gas money, unless I can find someplace relatively close by that I haven't been to yet.
It is 75 and sunny here right now with a high of 84 later. Perfect weather here! Can't complain :D

Hope you all find something productive and/or fun to do today!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
