For the writers among us

Thought I would mention to those that don't read Nick Russell's blog that he has added some entries to another one of his blogs that deals with publishing for profit. Nick has recently published several of his RV books and a mystery novel in both Kindle and Nook formats. He briefly discusses his experience and over all presents it as a very doable task. What I have always appreciated about Nick is that he has never said he expected to produce block buster books but as a life long journalist (old newspaper man) he has focused on a niche and has been able to build income streams that can support him. when I have e-mailed him regarding products he has always responded in a professional manner. Anyway, I appreciate the diversity of talent that forum sisters have and thought that some of you might like a peek at how publishing has changed and writing is a skill that travels well in an RV :)

I follow Nick's blog as well as his self-publishing blog. I think it is great that he is taking the time to help other people to understand the process and maybe do the same thing he is doing. Usually people want to keep the secrets to success to themselves rather than share them and lend a helping hand.

Tina, we've all already told you and told you that you need to write and publish! Sounds to me like that info is just the thing you need!

Could you drop a link to his blog for those of us that don't have it marked? Thanks.

Tina, I'll expect to see you making some travel dollars soon. Well, and there are some other folks out there, Liz, who could do some neat things.
