Thank you much again for all the hugs and thughts.
On my way to hospital yesterday I stopped by our docs office and had blood pressure checked - much to my surprise it was normal - guess I'm so mean it is afraid to go up. Also drove my own car yesterday - filled it with gass in the a.ml. at 3.86 gallon - when I got home gas was 4.15 gallon - did I miss something? Anyway I forgot how much I enjoy driving my car - even on the curvy roads.
Spent most of the day with Bill there. Talked to couple doctors and watched a DVD about the operation - what to expect befor, during and after. He also got fitted for his "chest hugger" they use it now instead of a pilow. Looks like a hybred of a sports bra and a straight jacket! Has handles on the front he has to grip when moving around. When he said something about it being uncomfortable the nurse told him "be glad your not a woman and have to wear a bra all the time - no sympathy frrom me." she was joking with him but I thought she had a good point. It amazes me how much information they give you now about what will be going on during and after surgery. Even a big book full of pictures and suggestions to take and read. No more behind closed doors msyteries. The nurses told us that Doctor Hart is one of the best in the state. People come from Indy to see him.
He should be in the preperation stages now - no I didn't go over there but have talked to him on the phone this a.m. Will go over around 11 o'clock - probaby can see him for a second around 1:30 or so. By tonight he will be sitting up - I pity the nurses - when he doesn't feel good he is a weeny. If all goes well he will be coming home Monday or Tuesday. And luckily there is a cardiac rehab place here in the little town - so we wont have to be driving all over to get him there.
Well no excitement with the utilities yesterday - hoorey! Paid some bills and updated my blog yesterday - easier than trying to call everyone.
Will post again this afternoon or evening with how it went.
