Newbie

Come on in and say hello.

Newbie

Hi everyone. Ran across this forum while surfin Cafepress and thought I'd give it a shot. From reading the posts it sounds like most of you are from out West. I'm here on the East coast and pretty new to trailer camping. Had a Colemen PUP that got me hooked to the point where I went out last Nov and bought a 2011 Coachmen Freedom Express LTZ Hybrid. LOVE it. It's 20 ft and I'm currently pulling it with my Kia Sedona van. Have transmission cooler and as long as I stay in the flat lands it pulls quite well. Saving money now for new TV looking at Ford F150 down the road in a couple years. Lucky for me there seems to be plenty of CG's from Va down to FLa (East of I95) to keep me happy. as soon as I figure out how to upload pics I'll put a couple on here. Just wanted to pop in tonight and say hi to everyone.

Welcome and glad to have you with us. I think there are as many on the east coast as anywhere else - at least some times of the year. There were lots of us in FL this past winter.

Read, join in, make yourself at home. We are family.

Welcome aboard. Glad you found us. Those left coast ladies will be so proud to know what an impression they have made. I can't be that any of us are that shy. Check out the member map and I bet you can find someone to meet you at one of those campgrounds.

Welcome Chowboss! I'm not quite a left-coaster ... but I'm holding up the Rockies from the west. Yet I think I fit the "big-mouth" description.

This is a great forum and support for women who are or want to be RV'ers -- full-time, part-time or weekenders. It's an antidote for the testosterone that floods other RV forums.

I look forward to hearing about your (mis!)adventures and sharing in your fun. AND, as has been mentioned before, we LOVE pictures. So share as you travel (says the woman who forgot her camera altogether on her last trip).

Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to the conversations and of course like everyone else, sharing pics. Speaking of pics. How do you upload to forum? I tried selecting "upload attachment" but the area where I would type the filename is grayed out and the only place I can type anything is in "file comment".

There is an explanation on how to post pics under the Maint./Tech. heading or you can just click here. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=144

I think most of us use Photobucket, but there are others that you can use.
