Postby rvgrammy1953 » Mon May 30, 2011 8:30 pm

For those who are coming to the PA GTG here and all others who are interested in History, The History Channel has a very good production on tonight on Gettysburg.....It's only been on a half hour and already I've learned things I didn't know....So if you get a chance tonight to watch, go for it...it's on until 11pm eastern time....Enjoy!!!

I saw it advertised and wanted to watch it, but missed it tonight. Maybe it will be on again.

I had intended watching it, but couldn't stay awake , so had to give up. I had been up since 3:30 a.m. and no nap, and the ol' bod, just couldn't do it. I would love to have seen it, hopefully it will be back on one day. It advertised new info on that battle, so I was very interested. Just refreshing memory of the place would have been good. Many years since I have been there, was so looking forward to being at the GTG to do the tour with you all, but wasn't meant to be this time. I'll be looking for pix and all the info, from each one who attends and makes the tour :o ;)
