Well my house sale closes the 1st = that's the good news. Now the bad news - the woman I'm buying from called today and she can't get financing for the place she was trying to buy sooooo - she can't sell her house. I guess I'll be back at the KOA the 1st of June. I'm really bummed out!!!!! She's still willing to sell only it might be six months or more. The place they were trying to buy is a mobile on an acre of land BUT the banks aren't loaning on any mobiles over ten years old and her finance hasn't had his job long enough. I'll keep looking but the others for sale don't appeal to me for a lot of reasons. BLAST - why can't things go smoothly?

There is a reason; I really believe that...just like when a person is stuck in traffic, getting all worked up.Only to find out a train derailed right where they would have been had they not been stuck in traffic. I have feeling something better awaits

Hang in there Karen. The perfect place will show up. Maybe not in your time frame, but it'll happen. Just be glad you've got a roof over your head -- and wheels under your feet. When I sold my last place my realtor made a major mistake & I had to scramble to find a place to live for 6 weeks until I could get into my new home. Wasn't pretty when she had to cough up a chunk of change to pay for my rent.

But I'll think good thoughts for you & pray that the perfect place becomes available on June 2.

Sorry this has happened Karen. But as the other have said, it will all work out.
I have found that most things I have a time frame for usually work out in their OWN time frame!

Rats! sorry to hear the purchase fell through! I know places are hard to find in Kerrville, but like the other gals said, something better is out there, and you will find it. Way better than if the 'sale' end of the deal went south! Enjoy your summer!

Thank you ladies for all your support. I, too, feel there is always a reason for things happening but I had the furniture and decorating all done in my head already. Thank God I have a home on wheels so I'm not out on the street.
