Tuesday Storming In

Morning ladies!

It's Tuesday and I should be excited as there are only 7 more workdays left for me plus I had a really good showing of the house last night. But the thunderstorms marching through since 5 am have made for a jarring wake up. Plus, as if we need it around here, heavy rains all night and through today. So this will be brief as I head for the shower and on to work reciting my mantra "This too shall pass."

I'll take my coffee to go, please! It's going to be an interesting drive to school.

Good Morning... so glad you will be free for the summer Vickie... keeping my fingers crossed that the showing will turn out to be very positive like a cutting of the stick and brick strings....
My son is back in the hospital... his heart... not sure yet what is going on... I cannot leave to go because I have an appointment at the pain clinic this week... need to keep that one very badly so I can drive to Clinton Township... so am patiently waiting news...
My neighbor took out my garbage disposer yesterday and I did not have it replaced... do not use it very often anyway... better pay $67 than $167 to replace it...
I have coffee for you Vickie and anyone else that comes in... '

Morning Vickie, hope you are having a good work day! And hello to all who follow too. I'm waiting for the plumber to repair my kitchen faucet, probably a new one. Too much fun! And then, even more excitement....laundry!

Continues to be very hot and humid here, but no complaints. I am looking forward to my trip back to CA in a couple weeks. Spring is so late, tons of snow still to melt (as we know from Patti ); the falls will still be running well into June. Yay!

OK, got distracted by plumber arriving 30 min EARLY. That's a nice change.

Yesterday I found someone to take over my lease! Yay! She is coming by shortly to sign all the paperwork. Now I am scrambling to find a new place of my own by next week! Lots of searching on-line and phone calls!

Kathleen, I hope your son is OK! Must be frustrating not to be able to be there with him.

Edit: The deal fell thru on the lease... Back to square one!
