So, I don't really want to admit this, but our friendship IS more precious than diamonds, doofus or not.

Okay, how does finding diamonds work? Are you guaranteed of finding one? How long do you sit in the dirt and dig?

We are all having a great time, despite Mitch being here! We haven't found any "real" diamonds, just the sparkle in Mitch's eyes...cough, cough, hack, hack, ACK! Laura, you can dig from 8am to 5pm if you want to, we've only been a couple of hours each day. You're not guaranteed anything, but if you do find anything it's yours to keep. I have some pics to post and will try to get that done tomorrow.

I live in AR and have done the Diamond Dig one time, keep thinking I will go back someday. You two are going to have to bury the hatchett someday and admit you love each other. I have a feeling you two have some stories to tell, in fact, I have read enough tidbits I know you do

I love that park. I've been there twice and no luck as yet. Even took Gus to do some digging last year but he kept biting my shovel (jealous?) but wouldn't dig. I thought he might be lucky, but nope. I'm still diamond less. Have a great time.

Ah, Mitch, looks like you are stuck with having a good time with Vickie. Glad to see George looking chipper, no skin-ups, no bruises so I'd say you haven't been beating him up...he must of agreed to go camping with you!! Or was it the only way to keep him off the mowing machine and out of the pond ? ?

Vickie...you look like you are also stuck with having a good time with Mitch. Seems like George's hatchet might have gotten buried. Ronnie looks like he is having a good time, even if he doesn't have a fishing pole.

Girls pass on to George and Ronnie my wishes for them both to have a great time in the park.

So good to see all of you out camping!!
Really hope you find a big diamond and use it to finance going to the ARK gtg in Oct. Carolyn and I left the big ones just for you.
BTW: If temp is below 110 degrees on that field, it is cooler than when we were there last fall!
Have you tried the push button showers in bath house? You get 90 seconds of water for each push. Might work okay for Vickie but Mitch and I are slightly on the short side. I could barely reach the button and stand under shower head at same time.
We need more photos, ladies.

AWESOME pizza, Vicki! I've never seen one of those kinds of liners before ... very interesting. I've always admired people who cook in Dutch ovens. As far as I'll go is a pie iron.

I gave my dutch oven to my son when I sold my house. I didn't know I would be RVing at the time. That pizza looks great.

Last summer, one of our campers made dutch oven enchiladas and shared them with me and the other camp host. They were delicious.
