Thanks for posting that Diana. Carolyn - please take care. Do you have people to help moving stuff?

Doesn't look good for Butte LaRose according to the latest news. Carolyn, hoping you got everything moved where you wanted it, but especially you and your Dad. Don't know that we'll hear directly from you, but maybe Martha is in touch and will keep us posted. You're in my heart. carold

Will watch for some news today, as I think this is the day of decision for those in charge of the spillways in those levees. Thinking of you all who live in the floodway areas.

Been gone all day and haven't checked the news yet....as the others have said, my heart hurts for you and am keeping you and your town in my prayers.

I saw the videos on the news and wept with you. Look forward, if possible, and perhaps you can now become a 'full-timer' with no looking back. I just hope you managed to get all your irreplaceable stuff from your Butte home. There is no law that says you can't rent a campground site and still work, if you must. Then, in the future, all you have to do is roll away from the dangerous weather. Big hugs to you all from that area today.

[color=#BF0000]Carolyn,
I have you in my heart today. As Soos said maybe you can turn this lemon into lemonade. You already have your home on wheels...remember you have lots of girls holding you up. God Bless

I, too, am keeping you and all those there in my heart and prayers. I'm reading that the flooding there could stay at high levels for 3 weeks or possibly longer, once reaching there. I hope you were able to save everything of value, but my heart aches at what you and all your neighbors will be losing.

Carolyn, I'm glad you got your things moved and have a place to stay for you and your Dad. It's gonna be a long wait, I know, waiting and wondering what's going to be there when you get back. Try to remember that your community, family and friends are going through this together, try to gather strength from each other and your faith. There will be times when you'll be the strong one and times when you'll need the shoulder to cry on or the ear to vent to, we'll be there for whatever we can do to help you get through this. My advice is to make sure you have strong people around you when you go back the first time, don't go alone. I'm thankful my sister and her family was waiting for us when we drove up to our flooded home, I remember commenting that every time we leave our home we say a prayer for Jesus to cover our home with is blood and send his angels to protect it, but we didn't ask for it to be baptized!! Keep your humor, it'll get you through some unbelievable, heart wrenching times. Hugs to you.

On the bright side, at least you had time to move out your belongings ahead of time. Others have not been so lucky and lost everything. Hopefully, you will have a home to return to, repair and move back into. Keeping you in my positive thoughts and prayers...
