Finally, after retiring April 8th, every doctor I ever knew decided they needed to see me. Guess they would miss the money for the next five months, who knows. Then my attorney jumped on board (he didn't want to be left out) he needed to see me. When the last one said this 50,000 mile check up is okay, a quart low but you are good for 5 months, I cranked Southern Comfort up, grabbed bear and we were out of there.
Stopped in Perry, Ga first night. Nice park for overnight, then back on the road to NC. Came across Blood Mountain, not sure why it is called that, but bear decided he wasn't cool with me turning right, then left, then right, then left. Think he became dizzy. But we came on into Murphy to catch up with Liz, Carol, and Sarah. Carolyn will be here sometime today.
My GPS took me to the right location, but I didn't see Liz's unit so kept moving slowly. Liz tells me later she was yelling and running down the road after me. Heck I am looking for the Roadtrek never saw Liz. So came back to a campground and set up. When the phones finally connected, they came picked me up and had a delicious supper of pork roast, polenta, followed with carrot cake and icecream. What a treat!!!!!
We are having a wonderful mini get together....will post more along the road.
